What are some good areas to watch illuminations

We enjoy from France, there are several benches there, sometimes you have to stand if people are in your way but I find it is less crowded than in the Mexico Pavilion. We have also watched it from Mexico though and it's a nice view!

It depend on which way the wind is blowing.

About 8:30, find a spot upwind with a clear view of the center of lagoon.

We have watched and enjoyed from many spots - usually just moving closer to the lagoon near whetever country we were in and I don't remember ever having a complaint. Last trip, I watched from the steps in Canada for the firs time. We had sat on benches up in Canada while waiting, then moved to the stairs when it started. Not crowded, nice to sit, easy exit at the end.

I love watching it from Mexico. The people there I found usually sit on the ground and you can sip a Margarita while you watch

I like anywhere near the futureworld side so I can see the various lands as they light up along with the show (EG, if you're watching from the American Pavilion you'll see spaceship earth but most of the pavilions will be behind you)

There used to be a place just past the UK pavilion, before the bridge to France, where there was seating right down by the lagoon and it always seemed few people knew it was there. I don't know if this has been taken over for VIPs, special groups, etc.

Last trip we were able to find last minute, up front spaces between Germany and the African Outpost. Someone here mentioned that the crowd (except for the busiest days) tends to thin out as you get over there.
