Where to view 4th/July fireworks outside park?

Does anyone know the best place to view the 4th of July fireworks from outside of the parks? We will be near WDW on 7/3 & 7/4, staying offsite and not planning on going to the parks either of these days. Will we be allowed to view the MK fireworks from the Poly beach, or will we have to be an onsite guest or have dinner reservations? Also, can Illuminations and the Epcot fireworks be seen from anywhere outside the park (BC/YC or the Boardwalk) ??

TIA!

On a day like July 4th if you want to view the fireworks from the beach of the Polynesian it would be best to make a ADR for one of their restaurants, if you can still make one since it's next month & on a day like that there might not be any spots left. July 4th is a day when security is stepped up at the Magic Kingdom Resorts because they don't want people parking there & going to the Magic Kingdom because they would be taking up spaces for guests staying at the Resort & for guests just going their to eat. My family & I have not been there for July 4th but we have been there for Christmas Day & New Years Eve & I can tell you that I have seen people turned away from parking at the Contemporary on those days because they were not Resort guests or had no ADR's planned for that night. So I say to you if you do manage to get an ADR for that night at the Polynesian make sure you plan to use it & not make just so you can see the fireworks, because that would be un fair for people who want to actually eat at a restaurant that night in the Polynesian & were not able to get an ADR. However I strees to you might have no luck getting an ADR for July 4th if because it's one month away & people might have been planning them months ahead. So I wish you good luck with whatever you decide to do & remember what I said.

Anymore advice on where to view the fireworks?

BTW, I have no intention of making an ADR and not keeping it just to be able to enter the Poly :confused3 ... but thanks for the reply.

I recommend the Boardwalk - where we spent July 4th in 2004. We were staying at the Dolphin so parking was not a problem but there are several places you can try. There's some self-parking at the Boardwalk resort but if that's full I suggest you try valet at any either the BW, YC or BC.

From there you can see the special fireworks that MGM shows (it was a regular event there before Fantasmic) as well as Illuminations - which also includes extra fireworks at the end for the occasion. We stood on a bridge between the Dolphin and the YC and had a great view.

If you thought I was being mean, I was not but just incase I appologize. I only mentioned making a serious ADR because I have read stories of some people who make them only to get into Resorts on busy holidays, but they have no intention of using them. So that is why I said all that information.
