I have done this 5 times now and each tme we go we get it cheaper because of all the help from all of you! Alright I am trying to talk my husband into another Disney trip. If that doesn't work out then I am going to try and talk my 3 girlfriends into taking a girls trip. As a family we can stay anywhere( have already done All Star Sports, Riverside and Yacht Club). If we go with all girls I would like to stay at one of the deluxes. How can I get a cheap rate and stay somewhere on site? I am a Disney Club member, know it is cheaper to book your room and tickets seperately but what else? Any suggestions, discounts or great ideas? Help, I have Disney Fever!!:)

It is really going to depend on WHEN you go. Avoid Peak season! The good news is that value season for deluxe resorts kicks in around Aug 1. My favorite is Wilderness Lodge and the rates tend to be lower since it is not on the monorail and you cannot walk to a park. They have rooms with bunk beds and a queen.

Keep an eye on mousesavers.com, also you may want to consider getting an AP for one person to use to make the reservations, with 4 adults you may be able to save big time.

If we go as a family we would go the week of Memorial Day. If it is an all girls trip it would be the week of Labor Day. How does the annual pass thing work exactly? I have seen postings on it before but never really knew what it was all about. Is it helpful with tickets or lodging? Thank you for all of your advice.:)

hi: the last "ladies only" trip i did was about 5 years ago. we went during september for the least amount of crowds. your ap can get you discounts on the rooms (i think only up to about 40% now) during the slower times of the year for wdw. they only announce the ap rates a couple of months in advance now. you can try to get your best discount via the codes here or dc discount and make a ressie for whatever resort you choose. if an ap discount becomes available at a later time, you can always call and have them "update" your original ressie. the ladies only trip was great, but i missed having the teenagers around. my sil and i are in the initial planning stage to do another ladies only trip.

Would it be four adults in one room??? Remember to add $50 per night for two extra adults at the deluxes (still cheaper than getting two rooms). You would have to figure out if it would be worth it to get an AP. Just calculate how much the AP would cost and your room savings and compare that to how much you will spend on a room without an AP and don't forget to add on how much you will spend on tickets or a hopper. If you come back next year before it expires, it will definitely be worth it. Get some codes you can use from mousesavers and just call CRO and compare. I did get a rate for Labor Day Weekend (AP) of 234 for Poly and 224 for BC (including tax). Good luck!!!

Yes it would be 4 adults in 1 room. That is how we did it the last 2 times. It was only $20 a day extra (CSR) the last time. Has it gone up? Also how much is an adult AP? Can you explain how you go about getting the discount with an AP. You just tell them you are an AP holder and they give you rates for hotels and passes? Just Hotel? Just passes? Is it that big of a difference from the Disney Club?:)

I believe the deluxes are an extra $25 per adult per night. when you call CRO 1-407-W-DISNEY , you simply ask for the Annual Passholder rates for your dates for the resort you want. You do have to present it at check-in, so you would have to stop and buy one at any of the guest services at the park entrances or the ticket and transportation center. Check the ticket prices at wdwig.com. When you book with a Disney Club disount, it is considered a package (even if it's room only) and there are stiffer cancellation policies. I would look up the AP and other ticket prices, then call CRO and get some rates. Tell them you'll call them back when you decide. Then figure it all out on paper to see if you can save $$$$$. GoodLuck!!!

Another possibility if you went in Sept would be to rent points from a DVC member{check out the "rent/trade dvc forum"here on the DIS for more specific info}. The new Beach Club Villas will be open then....so perfect for a women only trip. They look so so pretty. You can actually rent the rooms at Beach Club Villas and then you may not have to pay extra for the other 2 people. I am not completely sure about this, someone have a definate about more than 2 people in DVC paid with cash? Even if you do not rent points and stayed on cash a room split 4 ways would be a very reasonable way to stay in luxury!! Have fun!!
