We really liked the Condo's at Lake Buena Vista Resort and Spa and we love that area.

Family suite at cabana bay at universal? Includes transport to universal and sea world . Easy to have an evening in citiwalk. We loved cabana bay and are staying again this year. Prices are good for longer stays - if you pop your dates into trip advisor all the different rates will come up.

Both places I originally found on VRBO but then rented direct with the owner.

do you rent through a service or directly with the owners?

one more question if i may, of the various places you've stayed (windsor hills, windsor palms, emerald something or other) do you have a preference? do you prefer one gated community over another? and if so, why?

Hi Beth, if you are renting a villa with a pool then for me it is really down to the individual property as you won't need to use the communal facilities and I would go with the one you like the best. All 3 are gated communities.

If renting a place without it's own pool then I would prefer WH as the communal pool is the best of the 3 places I mentioned. WH is also the nearest to the WDW parks, but really there must only be a mile or 2 in it.
