my father in law always decorates the front of his house at christmas any ideas where we could see lots of decorations other than the parks?

The lobbies of the Disney resorts are spectacular!
Must see resorts are the Grand Floridian for it's life-size gingerbread house, the Animal Kingdom Lodge for it's huge Christmas tree, decorated with carved animals and african art. The Beach Club for it's huge chocolate carousel and many of the other resorts, as well.
There is a holiday decoration tour of WDW that is available.
