where to report lost article at BCV

Not sure where to place this request so I will start here and perhaps the mods can move it to the correct location.

I lost an earring either in our room at the Beach Club Villas or in route between the villas and the parks. Is there an email address where I can send a picture of the lost earring? It has great sentimental value.

Sorry to hear that. I lost a favorite earring one time too. I had stayed at CBR, checked out and was driving downtown to a business meeting when I realized I only had one earring on. I wasn't sure if in my rush I only put one on or if it fell out somewhere. It was a lever back so chances are it did not fall out. I called CBR and reported it but unfortunately it was never found. It was from QVC but unfortunately no longer in stock. Hope it turns up!
 
Once my DD lost a Mickey Fantasmic Cap that was purchased at a prior trip and was fairly rare (and not sold any longer in the parks).

Well, she lost it. Luckily this was fairly early in our WDW trip. We went to the lost and found (near TTC) and it was there! WOW!

Then this past trip, my other DD insisted we bring 'blankie' to SSR with us. Well, we left it behind in the room.

We called mousekeeping several times. We finally got someone who really cared about our situation. They went thru the inventory... And viola! Blankie is back.

The fact you have the other earring should help. Try to get the number of lost and found - and GOOD LUCK
 
I've gotten my prescription sunglasses back twice, both times by reporting to the front desk of the resort at which they were lost (both times it was Boardwalk, several years apart, I should stop bringing stuff with me to the Boardwalk).

Once you've left the resort, I'd probably say you should contact the resort directly if you can find out their direct number, and do it as soon as possible. Ask them what they need to put an alert out for your lost item. The odds get worse depending on how long it's been from the time it was lost.

If you lost it between the resort and the parks, I am not sure what you would do with that, except contact WDW Guest Services.

Try: (407) 939-6244 and ask to speak to the front desk at the resort. They should be able to transfer you.
 
We just returned and think my daughter lost something at the Polynesian. We last remember seeing it when we had dinner there on Tuesday so think it was left either at Ohanas or somewhere in the lobby. We returned home late Friday and have everything unpacked and still can't find the item so I called the Polynesian main number. I explained the situation and they transferred me to the lost and found but it is only open Mon-Fri 8a to 4p. Not sure if that is true for the lost and found at all the resorts.
