Where to rent a ECV

A person in our party is going to need an ECV and i cant find very many links on where to rent them... i know i had seen somewhere a list of places to rent them but i cant find it. ANy one know where i can get such a list?

The Disabilities FAQ stickie will give you all the info you need. I rented from Care Medical which is on the list and thought they were great and plan to use them again next year.

We just returned from our trip December 5 to 14 and I rented an ECV from Care Medical. The people at Care Medical were very nice and answered all of my questions.

We stayed at POFQ and the chair was there when we arrived. It was very comfortable. One thing I notice about the EVC was the leg room. On the Care Medical EVC's you can actually stretch out your legs while on the others I noticed you had to keep you legs straight down. After 6 + hours sitting on the EVC it was great to be able to have room to move my legs.

I recommend using Care Medical. I will be using them again later this year.

I rented from Randy's in September. Great experience. Reasonable price. He was on time dropping off and picking up, explained everthing well, gave me great advice on which size cart to go with, and the cart worked great all week. I couldn't have asked for a better, trouble free experience. i plan to use him for my next trip in june.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the companies listed in the disABILITIES FAQs thread. People have their favorites, but all the companies listed have had pretty consistent good recommendations.

We have nothing but praise for Randy's Mobility service after our 10-day visit in Nov. We were staying at Windsor Hills, and since I was nervous about delivery since you never know about delayed flights, etc. We were told to just call them once we had landed and they'd deliver accordingly. We actually waited till we found out way to our house, called and had our scooter within the hour! They were just as helpful on the day we left, picking up the scooter before 9 am for us.

I rented an ECV last summer from Walker Mobility and had a great experience with both the scooter and the company itself! No problems! I'll be using them again this year as well!

I've been using Walker Mobility two or three times a year since 2002 - friendly phone staff, prompt deliveries, good working scooters. I have been very pleased over the years and would highly recommend this company.

Walker Mobility is my provider of choice. They have been wonderful with excellent customer service and quick options made available when I had a problem last year. The cost is reasonable too.

I have used Care and Randy's before, but Walker is the best. IMHO

Instead of renting an ECV I purchased an inexpensive one at our local Farm and Fleet. It cost twice the weekly rental price and I can use it at home.
