Where to park for Goofy's Kitchen?

I am making PS at Goofy's Kitchen on our free day. The plan is to go to brunch in the morning and then go sight seeing and Ikea shopping. We are staying at the Hojo's but I think we will drive to breakfast. Can we park in the hotel parking lot? Do they validate? Also, (probably a dumb question) is DLH close to Downtown Disney, like walking distance? I am considering taking the kids to Build a Bear after breakfast to get Disney outfits for their bears. Thanks!

Since you are going to Build a Bear you could park in Downtown Disney Parking lot then walk a block to Goofy's then walk over to Build a Bear then back to the car. They will validate your parking at Goofy's and the Downtown Disney lot allows 3 hours free and does not even have attendents to take money until after noon usually.

When we went for dinner, we asked at the entrance to the Disneyland Hotel and they said if we got the ticket validated it was good for 5 hours of VALET parking at the hotel. We parked about 5:30pm, so we had until 10:30pm. We took the Monorail to the park, then about 10pm we walked through Downtown Disney back to the hotel. When we left the hotel, there was nobody in the booth to collect tickets/money.

Downtown Disney... And if you need validation the ESPN zone does it for free....

Because the monorail takes you into the park you would have to have park admission for the day to use it. But on your park days you can use the monorail when ever you wish.

Just to be clear......I believe to validate parking, you had to either purchase a meal from a sit-down restaurant or buy a ticket to the movie theater there. At least that is what I read while we were there.

This past Monday night, we parked in the DTD lot about 4:45 pm, went to Rainforest for dinner and then into the parks until 11 pm. We had 5 hours free (the first 3 and then the 2 from parking validation). But because we were there just a hair past the 5 hour mark, I think we had to pay $2.00!!
