My DH is a coffee lover.
I would like to have a list of places in the parks (not resort restaurants) that sell a nice, good tasting cup of coffee...nothing instant tasting (kwim?)...places where I can just walk into and order up some.
Thanks!:)

The resort coffee isn't that bad - but it isn't good either.

The Hess station has decent coffe if you have a car.

Go over to the resort board, page 8, and find the thread titled "Is the coffee really that bad?" Plenty of comments you may find interesting!

Dunkin Donuts :rotfl2:

Too bad there isn't one on property. :upsidedow

I haven't ever found any at Disney that I like.

As far as I am aware, there IS no good coffee at Disney. I am a coffee lover too, and I have learned that I either need to leave the parks/resorts to get a decent cup of coffee, or go cold turkey while I'm there (imo, the caffeine withdrawal headaches are better than trying to drink the coffee they serve!) I'll have to go check out that coffee thread now!

I believe that Kona cafe has great coffee and I love McDonald's coffee and I know there is one there at the Marketplace:) Yes, having a caffeine withdrawal headache is horrible, I've been there and it wasn't pretty...good luck

I am not aware of any location in any of the theme parks that sells coffee that isn't comparable to swill. :lmao: And quite frankly, most of the restaurants on WDW property also serve swill.

Some notable exceptions: Kona Cafe serves a mean press pot coffee, as does Boma. I believe that Citricos also offers press pot coffee as does Jiko. But these are all resort restaurants.

If you have a car, go off property and find a Starbucks or something along those lines. Or do what we do: grind your beans before you leave and make real coffee in your room every morning. :thumbsup2

We really like the coffee at WL...maybe it is good because we get it in Dec. and then sit in the rockers by the fireplace. :thumbsup2

Pepper Market coffee isn't too bad. They have pretty tasty cappucinos too. But since we hve a car, I still make my DH take me for a Starbucks cappucino a couple of times during the trip. :rotfl2:

The best coffee I had during my whole trip was the French Press pot at Kona cafe. I drank the whole thing myself because I had been suffering without for most of the week. I was definitely  :yay: :jumping1: afterwards but I sure was happy!

Other places I found liquid sustenance:
Starbucks at the Swan or Dolphin (I don't remember which one)
Awesome third-party vendor cart outside of the entrance to AK

I avoided all restaurants on property because all of the coffee was gross Nescafe instant. I'm bringing my own ground coffee and making it in the room.

Guess I will be packing my own pot, coffee, and my favorite mug ( I watched how the maids wash your coffee cups in the room - eeeewwwww!)

We will be staying at Shades of Green in September, and I've heard that they have a Starbucks or at least offer Starbucks coffee at a shop by the bus area. Does anyone know if this is in fact true? I sure hope so!

Starbucks at Swan it is worth the boat ride from the studios or epcot, heck it's worth the walk!

The Dolphin has Starbucks coffee that you can get by the cup at Picabu! We purchased refillable mugs and would go downstairs in the morning to get coffee. It's very good there!

I pack my percolater and bring my own coffee, Green Mountain Our Blend, that is how important good coffee is to our family.

But if I am out and about and looking for decent coffee, I do go to the Swan or Dolphin, they serve Starbucks. Also, I have tried Kona, it is ok.. sorry people this is someone who perks her own coffee as she cannot stand drip, and I have had French press at Citrico's and Spoodles, which is delicious... It is probably still Nescafe, but somehow the French press helps it taste better..

Last time we went I bought an individual coffee press mug from starbucks, ground small bags of coffee for each morning and packed it in my suitcase. I heated the bottled water in the in room coffee maker and made my own each morning. I plan on doing that again. It doesn't take much room in my suitcase at all...although my clothes did have a slight "eau de coffee" when I opened my suitcase!

Good coffee in the parks CS is very hard to find but we have had great coffee in some of the park TS options

There are a few coffee stands in the parks that have lattes and such and they are ok, not the best but ok.

I love the pressed pot from Kona but do not like the coffees from stand right outside the restaurant. I asked for a latte and it tasted like plain water...blech!

The pressed pot from Boma is great too, alot stronger than Kona but still great stuff
