Going to DW July 12th for the third time, but the first at our "home" BLT! We have decided to buy 10 day hoppers, water parks and more with no expiration. I was going to buy them from undercover tourist because of all the I have seen here on the boards. My wife is convinced that we should buy from Disney, not some other place because she is worried that there will be some problems. Can someone help me out here??? Any information about other dealers or other people's experiences would be great. I will show the responses to my wife this evening. Keep in mind we have a family of six, so I know it will be expensive either way. While I'm thinking about it can the tickets be transferred to your kttw card?? Any and all info and advice would be greatly appreciated!

We have purchased from Undercover Tourist three times and it has all worked out perfectly. They are authorized sellers of the WDW hoppers so there is no problem buying from them that I have ever encountered. You will save some $$ over buying directly from Disney, you can still use a credit card to pay, and there is even a generous return policy.

Ticket prices just went up, but perhaps Undercover Tourist still has some inventory at the lower prices (pre-Sunday, 6/12). We bought the 10-day no expiry hoppers (without water parks) and saved at least $41 x 4 tickets over the new prices.

Good luck collecting your information.

I have used AAA for my purchase of tickets. Once I bought them as a gift for my parents trip. 2nd time I bought them for my husband and I. I bought the 10 day hopper, No exp. date, & water park as well. We have been down there twice for a total of 17 days and I still have days left on the passes. There is a local AAA that I was able to go to and purchase them. No problems and I get a little discount. Very Happy with using them and I would do so again when I need new tickets. They can not transfer the tickets to you KTW.

We have purchased tickets from Undercover Tourist at least a half-dozen times and always had excellent service and speed of delivery. Just remember when looking at the ticket prices on Disney's website that it doesn't add the tax until you are in the checkout stage. The prices on UT's website include the tax. We have always saved at least a hundred dollars going the UT route, I highly recommend them.

Also, if you are buying non-expiring tickets you might not want to have them transfered to your KTTW card. The reason being that it will be difficult to know how many days you have left later and if you go multiple times and have to keep up with multiple room keys (the actual room key + the old ones with days left on them) it might get confusing.

Me too!! Love UT!!

There is really no good reason to not buy tickets through UT - they are entirely reputable, ship fast, stand behind their products, and you will save some money.

Totally agree. Undercover Tourist is an authorized (by WDW) ticket broker with a sterling reputation. You will get the same tickets you would if you bought from Disney directly.

I have bought tickets from them myself and was 100% satisfied with their service.

Tell DW that I am a worry wart but listened to recommendations here and bought tickets from Undercover Tourist. That was years ago and their service is stellar. And if you hurry you can still buy tickets from them at the old price (and their prices include tax)! They will mail them to you for free in time for your trip. Do it!

I was not aware of undercover but will definitely look into that for our next trip, thanks

Go to mousesavers.com and sign up for the monthly newsletter. It will include a link to save an extra few bucks off the already reduced Undercover prices.

Always use Undercover and never had a problem. They are great! I strongly recommend them. (Used them for all the parks - Universal, etc)

How long from ordering to arriving in mail does UT usually take? I ordered on Saturday. It said July arrival but seems like last year they came faster.

When you order there is a place to specify when your vacation begins. We have received tickets in 3 days.

If you are planning another trip next year, you might want to consider an AP with the DVC discount. Given the number of days that you need tickets for on this trip and if you can arrange your next trip to fall with in the end of the AP year, you might find that it is a better deal.

We've purchased tickets from UT several times without any problems. When comparing, keep in mind that the prices they list are all-inclusive. Taxes and shipping are already included in the price on their web site. For Disney, you need to add the 6.5% tax and, unless you use will-call, the cost of ticket delivery.

If you haven't already done it, sign up for the monthly email from mousesavers.com. It includes a link to a private page on UT that has extra discounts that will save you a few more bucks per ticket.

Disney tickets just recently went up by about 8%. If you can get some of the UT existing inventory, which was already discounted off Disney prices, you'll get some significant savings. It even worked out to be a better deal for us this year than purchasing the tax-free military discounted tickets at Shades of Green.

Thank you all sooooo much for the information!!! I didn't have a chance to show my wife tonight. I will first thing in the morning. I think this will make it an easy choice, even for her. Thanks again!

I just purchased tickets from UT today for the first time.

We purchased 2A and 1 C 6 day PH, the price from Disney would have been $988 with tax and shipping, the price from UT was $875!!

I too was nervous about buying tickets from someone other than Disney but this thread and the price difference convinced me!:cool1:

Thanks Mousesavers!

Ok, so I signed up for the mousesavers newsletter today. Only problem is that it only comes out once a month on the 15th. I missed that by a day, just like I missed the webcast prices for an add on by a day - a whole other story that I wont get into here. Is there any way that I can still get the discount for signing up for the newsletter???

If you PM me your e-mail address, I will forward you the whole newsletter. That is the only way Mary Waring, MS owner, allows it to be shared.

Thank you all so much for your awesome help! We just bought our tickets!!! Can't wait to get there!
