Hello,

We can't wait to stay at the BWV for F&WF.

While there I would like to get maincure and get my hair done to get ready for some of the F&WF events.

Where would I do this at BWV? or the closest option?

TIA

I know there is a salon at the Beach Club, I don't think there is one at Boardwalk. Just call the WDW Operator from your room phone, and they can connect you to the closest on-site salon.

Yes, Periwigs at the Y&BC is the closest salon and they do hair and nails. It is actually a bit closer to the YC side but is in the common area. If you know where Beaches and Cream is, just keep walking toward the YC from there.

Perwigs is very convenient to BWV. Make sure you call ahead and make an appointment. I did not have my hair done but did have my acrylic nails refilled twice during an extended stay. The prices were definitely high but the service was great. I saw many men having their hair cut while I was there.

I had a manicure there last August - a woman having her hair done gave up her appointment. I happened to see the woman later and her hair looked awesome. My manicure was great, a little expensive, but I was on vacation and didn't care.

I agree it is expensive. In fact, I would check on the price when you call for an appointment. I've been having my hair done at Periwigs and Ivy Trellis for several years now. The price for shampoo, blow dry with flat iron finish had been $45. In May I paid $60 I believe at Periwigs. In September, I was charged $70. I'll probably start going offsite again as that is just too much for me! $45 was a vacation splurge, $70 is nuts.

How much is a manicure/pedicure these days, ladies? I had a manicure there once but it was some years ago. I had been using TC lately who is wonderful but she didn't return my call this trip?? :sad1:

I've gotten a manicure at the beautiful spa in the Dolphin. I'm not sure if they have a hair salon there, though.

I second the previous poster. The Mandara Spa at the Dolphin is a wonderful experience. Go there for the manicure! :thumbsup2

Do you remember the cost?

No, sorry. It was the morning of my wedding, actually, and my maid-of-honor paid for manicures and massages for each of us. I couldn't sleep, so we decided to do something relaxing instead of tossing and turning in bed.

How nice of her! :cool1: Your pictures are beautiful and congratulations on your approaching first anniversary. :sunny:
