Where to get discounted giftcards

Thank you. I will have to dig through my junk drawers to find a check then. What does the application process consist of? Can you get declined for the debit card?

I would imagine the answer is "no", so long as you have a valid checking account.

In-store, you simply hand a blank check to any manned register -- they will scan the bottom numbers from the check and give you a temporary card (in the form of a barcoded receipt) until your plastic card arrives in the mail.

Online, you can go right here, and download the application (in PDF format), enclose a blank, voided check and mail everything to the address on the application.

I just did this today! It took about 5 minutes. I did have to enter my SSN but there was no credit check or anything. 5% off Disney giftcards, woohoo!

You can use your Target RedCard to get 5% off your purchase ... includes gift card purchases. Also, every now and then target has sales on gift cards. Like last week they had a $15 dollar itunes gift card for $13.00.

I think sams club does stuff like that too. Also, there is this pawn shop close to me that buys and sells gift cards. I got a $50 gift card there once for $40. I would check your local ones and see.
