How do I order a scooter for our next trip? How much is it? We are staying at OKW, in Feb. of 10 and my 84 yr old grandma is going to need one.
Thanks

Hi and :welcome: to disABILITIES!

If you click on where it says "disABILTIES" at the top of this page it will take you to the Index. One of the top items is the "disABILTIES FAQ" which will gives lots of useful information. Post #2 discusses mobility and stamina problems, and has information converning relatin of mobility items, either from Disney or off-site locations. The FAQ does list several off-site locations that people here have used with generally few, if any, problems.

Or, if you want an easier route to the FAQs, click on the link in my signature.

My cousin always orders her's from Walker Mobility. They have a website or you can call 1-800-SCOOTER. I think they are $30 a day for a regular ECV. They have very good service if you have a problem with the ECV. She's been using them for 7 or 8 years.

Thanks for the recommendation Debbie. Although our phone number is 1-888-SCOOTER not 1-800-SCOOTER.

Once again Debbie thanks for the kind words.

Sorry about that. Thanks for correcting me. I'll be sure to get the right number to people. We really love you guys.

Thanks for the correct #...just called and was wondering why I had the wrong one, so I rechecked and there was the right one. We will be using Walker Mobility in our Feb. trip.

I just called today and reserved ours through Randy's Mobility. It's $180 for a week. You can prepay (which we did), or prepay half and pay the delivery driver the remainder. That's the only thing I wasn't prepared for in the transaction -- I guess I expected to reserve with a card number which would then be charged upon delivery. Now that I think about it, I haven't seen discussion of any payment/reservation methods for any of the companies. So if that's an issue for you, keep that in mind.

Here's another vote for Walker Mobility. We will be using them for our Jan trip. John is great to deal with.
