where to get a birthday cake is there a bakery

We will be arriving on my DH's birthday and I wanted to get him a birthday cake. We are not planning on eating at any particular restaurant I was thinking of just getting it to take back to the room to surprise him. We are not going to any parks on the day we arrive.

I was thinking maybe there is a bakery on the boardwalk or at downtown marketplace or maybe the bakeries at the hotels do cakes.

The Boardwalk Bakery is very good and takes special orders (at least they did last time I was there a year or so ago). Sorry, I don't know their phone number.

The cakes are good from the Boardwalk Bakery. If you're staying onsite cakes can also be ordered from your resort restaurant if you call ahead.

When I made my PS for my September visit, I asked the same question to celebrate my DS b-day. They gave me the following phone#:

the number 407-824-1520 is to Chef mickeys and they do cakes if you are planning on eating there.

They told me to call the hotel we will be staying at and ask for romm service. We are staying at PORFQ so they do not have room service but thye connected be to the food and beverage area. They guy was pretty nice we said they have cakes in their bakery all the time its a small round cake with a sugar mickey design on it for $12.50. He said if I wanted something else they could order it and have it delivered to the hotal for me.

I haven't decided which way to go yet. Anyone ever have any of the cakes that they have on had in the hotel restaurants?

t Oct. we stayed at the BWI with my son and his family. It was my grandaughter's 1st birthday and we had a cake from the BW bakery. It was so delicious and it was sugar-free. My son is a diabetic. In March for my girls only trip we did an Illuminations cruise to celebrate one of my friend's birthday and again we had a cake from the BW bakery. All I can say is YUMMY!!!!!! It was delicious. I would try to get a cake from there. They will decorate it any way you want.
