Where to find cruise/airfare deals??

Where do i go to find deals on cruises and airfare?
We have never been on a cruise and would love to go next month or maybe beginning of sept at the latest.

Please help me find some awesome deals!! Preferably out of CA or Texas... But could be other places if i can find some good airfare deals.

I would do a general cruise search on a site like priceline or cheapcruises.com. If you find an itinerary you like, check that cruise line's website. I have found that most of the time, the best deal can be found on the cruise line's own site, rather than a secondary one. Vacationstogo is a good one too. to research ships, check out cruisecritic. You can see pics and reviews of all ships on all lines on that site. Good luck, cruises are one of our favorite vacations!!

Ive heard that if you book on other places besides their site you are more likely to get on board credits etc? Is this not true?

It can be true, but I have generally found that the other sites are higher priced on the base cruise, making the extras not really a value. But others may have a different experience.
