My two nieces, 5 and 9, asked me to bring them back charms for their Disney charm bracelets. Does anyone know where I can find these? When I asked the girls where they were, they said "They're just everywhere Aunt Shell!!!

:tinker:

We stayed in Pop Century the 80's and there was a whole table full of charms to choose from.

Have fun.

OP here. I thought this request was going to be a week long scavenger hunt, but you guys have convinced me that they are, indeed, everywhere!

Is this a popular souvie for younger girls these days? Which ones seem to be the most popular? The request I got was for Marie (Aristocats) and a Minnie Mouse cheerleader. Oh and a Crush (turtle) IF I can find one.

Thanks!

A coworker went to WDW a few years ago and came back with a bracelet full of charms (probably 50+). It was so cute. When my husband bought me a charm bracelet for xmas one year, we had friends that were going to WDW a few months later and I asked them to get me a few charms if they could find them. They brought some home for me and I asked where they found them and they said "Everywhere". So when I go next year for my first time, I am going to look "everywhere" and collect as many as I can!:thumbsup2

I wanted to thank everyone. I found tons of charms for my nieces! I was looking for a couple of special ones, some I found, one I didn't. The Cheerleader Minnie Mouse:cheer2: was very difficult and I only saw it at DTD at World of Disney. I was also looking for a Crush the Turtle, but I never saw one (if it exists.)

Sooo....if anyone sees a Crush charm, please let me know where. I will be back in late Sept/early Oct.

Also, have you seen any other unusual ones?

What is the price range on the charms? And do they sell bracelets, or did you already have your own?

We'll be there right after Thanksgiving, and I was thinking charm bracelets would be a great Christmas gift for DD's friends, our niece, etc. I'd love to come home from WDW with my Christmas shopping done! :santa:

I don't want to lie to you, but I'm pretty sure the charms were between $6-8 each. They do sell the bracelets as well for (I think $8-10) I didn't buy a bracelet, so I'm not so sure on that.

They had another kind of bracelet...a "slider" charm bracelet. It's a cheaper, non metal version...like a strap. The charms for it are box-like and have slits in the middle of them so they will slide over the strap/band. These may be even more inexpensive.

I am almost sure that the charms were $3.95 each. I know they were less than $5.

I bought my charm bracelet in our hotel, POP. The charms really are everywhere and most places have the same general selection.

I think my bracelet (the metal kind, purple) was under $10 and I am positive the charms were less than $5.

Oh, and for the record I am 29. Definitely not just a trend for the younger girls! :lmao:

I told you not to take my word for it. Now that others have posted, I pulled out my receipts and YES they are 3.95 each. The bracelets I still am not sure about, so take others advice there.

Oh...and they are definitely NOT a child only thing! I saw some charms in the jewelry cases that are sterling silver (more pricey) that were very nice! But the 3.95 charms were so cute that I'm considering starting my own. I think I would rather have a nicer bracelet for myself, but I'm spoiled!princess:

I love the charms - last Sept I put two on a pair of sneakers so keep the good ones together as I could not find different shoe laces. I did get some comments - always positive and the the magic stays with you when you are home.

Does anyone have any pics they could share of the charms/bracelets? Do they have bracelets small enough for a 2 1/2 yr old? Dd loves to wear her "pretty" (as she calls her bracelet) and I was thinking a Disney bracelet might be a good souvenir.

The bracelet can be adjusted to fit any size wrist.
