Where to eat for Grand Gathering?

I am planning a Grand Gathering for December/January. There will be 12 of us: 6 adults and 6 kids ages 10(boy), 9(boy), 8(girl), 7(girl), 5(boy), and 2(girl). We would like to do the Grand Gathering Safari Dinner Package but wonder which other restaurants we should choose. This will not be the first time to WDW for any of us, but the grandparents haven't been since the 80s. We will all be on the DDP so have at least one TS meal per day to think about and will be there for 7 days. We want to have one meal per day together whether it is the TS or CS so that we touch base and get together at some point during the day. We are staying at the same resort.
