We plan to spend a whole day at DHS next month so we'll have plenty of time to leave the park and head over the Epcot resort area to eat lunch or dinner. It'll be me who likes just about everything and teen DS who is happiest with burgers and that type of thing but also likes other foods as long as they're not too "weird" as he puts it. Any suggestions?

We usually eat at the SciFi but with two of us we're usually seated in the backseat behind other people so we'd like to try something else this time. We're not big fans of the 50's Primetime and don't really care for anything else at DHS.

ESPN has good 'normal' food and if your DS is a sports fan he will love it. We also like Big River and Capts Grille. I have heard Beaches and Cream has a great burger but we have never been able to get in. We also like to get a mixed drink :goodvibes and they only serve beer.

Dh and I like The Fountain at the Dolphin. The food is great, service has always been fast & friendly and their ice cream is so good!

We enjoy taking the boat over to boardwalk for dinner outside at big river grill. The food is great, fun to people watch on the boards, and you don't need ADRs.

It can sometimes be easier to go to Downtown Disney where there is a good variety of dining that is often better than in the parks.

My family and I actually take the boat from HS to the Caribbean Resort and eat at the Captain's Grille! It's my favorite place to eat at WDW!!!! (I think it is located at the Caribbean but not 100% positive. I know you take a 5 minute boat ride there!!!!)

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll be studying menus and maps now! :)

We like to take the boat from HS and go to Cape May Clambake @ Beach Club. :cool1:

We like to stay at the Beach Club, and I'd heartily recommend Beaches & Cream or the Cape May Cafe. The boat ride from DHS is short but fun.

Unless you have a car or take a cab though this option is going to take maybe 3 hours or more.

You would have to leave DHS, go to a resort, catch a bus and then do the same to return.

Captain's Grille is at the Yacht Club. Which makes sense because there is no boat to the Caribbean Resort from DHS.
