We will have three kids with us--ages 9,8 and 5, the youngest two are kind of picky. I'd like some recommendations please.

My first impulses are the Garden Grill in the Land and Biergarden in Germany. Both are all you can eat restaurants (Garden Grill had a large skillet that is brought to your table and Biergarden has a buffet) so they can just pick what they like. Also, both are a lot of fun for kids. There's a live Octoberfest show at Biergarden and Mickey and friends make appearences at the Garden Grill.

You can also take a look at the menu to see what restaurants look good to you. Here's a link:

germany is good for the show - but my kids don't eat there - they just go for grandpa's sake - and last time they were really cranky because he insisted on eating there and they were so hungry - but anyway - not about my problem -

the kids like canada - though they didn't want to eat there - i did & then they tried my beer cheese soup (no realy alcohol taste) and the salmon and now i have to make it at home

japan is great because they make the dinner in front of you and it's really grilled food - chicken - shrimp - or steak - and they don't have to use the dipping sauces if they don't want to -

and now because my daughter was taking french we went into their bakery to get a baguette & now they want to get food there -

so there's a lot of places to eat - and you can look up their menus with your kids before you choose

I don't really care for the food at Garden Grill anymoe, but it is a character meal & the restaraunt is neat. I don't like the food though. A lot of people do.

They also have an ice cream social there with the characters that kids like.

You might consider doing the Princess Breakfast at the Norway pavillion & I definately recommend Biergarten for lunch or dinner. The entertainment is fun and kid friendly & the food is yummy. It's a buffet and there is something for everyone (I'm terribly picky and I love it there).

I also like Rose & Crown for dinner if you can sit outside during Illuminations. And Morocco has dancers and I guess they sometimes pick kids to come up and dance with them. My neice loved it when she went a few weeks ago. If your kids are boys though, at those ages they might not be too keen on a bellydancer picking them to come dance!

loved the Biergarten. Great atmosphere, super entertainment and a buffet that has something for pretty much everyone. My picky girls loved the sausages, bread, cheese, soup, salad, etc. while I loved the real German food. (My wife was somewhere in the middle as she did not grow up with this kind of food). We plan to go there again on our next trip.

Good luck!

We were just there twice last week. My dh said for fast food the Electric Umbrella was very good.

We had lunch at LeCellier Steakhouse and it was excellent. The kids meals included a chicken breast w/fries, steak w/fries, cheeseburger w/fries, pasta, etc. The kids portions were very big and good. DH & I had steak tips w/ mashed potatoes and of course the cheese soup. Best meal of the 8 days we were there.

I have a picky dd too.

For fast food, Sunshine Food Fair in the Land is very good with many choices.

LeCeillier has good plain food most people like.

We had very good meals at both Sunshine Food Fair in the Land, and at Electric Umbrella near Spaceship Earth. Much more variety at the Food Fair. Kids liked the mickey macaroni with cheese or marinara very well.

We've eaten at (sometimes with kids):

Coral Reef - expensive, but fun with kids - they see the big tank. Didn't think it was worth the money.

Mexico (San Angel Inn) - A lot of people don't like this because the food isn't what you think of when you think Mexico, but we enjoy it. The kids like watching the water. The restaurant is dark and loud.

China (Nine Dragons) we thought it run of the mill Chinese, but its been several years. If your kids will eat Chinese, this might be a good choice.

Morrocco (Marrakesh) we love this restaurant and have been here several times with kids. The chicken kabobs are good for kids - fairly normal, not spiced oddly. Kids also tend to like couscous.

Italy (Alfredos) - we ate here a long time ago without kids. The first time I went it was wonderful. The second time I went was the last. But if your kids are pasta fans, they will do fine here. Its a little crowded for my taste - without having the casual party-ness of San Angel. My mother in law was here recently and enjoyed it, which may mean its time for me to give it a try again.

Japan (Teppenyaki and Tempura Kiku) - Teppenyaki is a lot of fun with kids. Meat and veggies and rice - the meat and veggies stir fried in front of you on a hot grill. Not oddly tasting at all. Tempura is a little odder - my kids eat it, but "tempura" chicken nuggets are a little different than what your kids are used to.

Canada (Le Cellier) - A steak house with good fish and great steak. Our new favorite. Kids did fine. The Chocolate Moose for dessert is not to be missed!

Germany (Biergarten) - a buffet of German food, including sausages that are "just like" hot dogs (my picky daughter ate these in abudance) and chicken. This is a buffet - so unlike the other restaurants where your picky eaters can share if they say "yuck" to everything on the menu (and then get chicken strips later), you will pay for everyone in the party.

Almost all Disney restaurants have kids menus that have nice normal things on them.

My vote is for the Rose and Crown in the UK. They have very normal kids meals, even the simple Poppins Pizza (a large english muffin pizza) which my picky 9 year old loves, and the serve great kids sundaes.

I forgot the best part, they choose a child to start Illuminations and they are given a certificate for doing it. It is very cute they are on the step of the patio and they have a lighted sword and twirl it to the beginning drums until the first fireworks shoot off.

I vote for Le Cellier (Canada). The food here is really good, I really love that cheese soup and those yummy breadsticks (especially the pretzel bread). My kids love the food here too. We keep meaning to try the Moroccan restaurant cause it sounds so good, but we can't resist going to Le Cellier when we are at Epcot! Maybe next time.
