Hi All,

I'm heading back to the World on 4/2 with my DS (7) and sister and am having problems trying to find summer clothes for myself and my son. I'm not looking for anything specific just t-shirts, shorts and some 3/4 length cotton trousers for myself. Has anyone seen any shops with spring wear being displayed? :confused3

Thanks for any help.

Next.co.uk have there summer brochure out now :)

Yes Kaylee, and don't I know it - my wife had the catalogue out last night and was writing a list :) , despite the fact we do not go till August and she said "I do not really need anything"....

Hi there

I work in retail and we are just in the process of bringing in the first phase of our summer clothes over the next 2 weeks, so I am sure there will be a lot of retailers doing the same thing.

Good Luck, I hope you find what your looking for. :goodvibes

Thanks Kaylee, I've just spent a couple of hundred quid (in my head) and I've got a year to go - LOL :rotfl2:

BTW- who do you work for Sue ?

Next and M&S both have spring/summer stock in. Once christmas is in the shops you can bet the the retailers already have their summer stock out the back. :)

Better still just get a few bits and go shopping when you there :earsboy:

If you can't get much of what you want here - there's always shopping when you're there :rotfl2:

You may be surpsised to see how little summer clothes there are in the shops over there. Its their winter, we saw the CMs in the parks wearing anoraks while we are in the water parks, sunning ourselves.
You can get tshirts and 3/4's but there are also lots of winter colours - black trousers etc.

Thanks for all your help, going to hit the shops tomorrow and will hopefully find what I'm looking for, if not I'll try online.

I'm hoping the weather will be good, we have been before in Feb and the temperature at night was pretty fresh to say the least! but when the sun was out it would hit the 70s which is just perfect for us freckled Scots :cool2:

What about Ebay?

I have started buying lots of clothes and shoes etc on there as it means you can search for what you acutally need/want, rather than getting side tracked by other shops!

I am terrible for going shopping for some work trousers and coming home with a new scarf, a jumper and another handbag!! :rotfl:

Yesterday on Ebay (with my birthday money!) I purchased a gorgeous brown belt, black suede slouchy style boots and some clinique # 2 clarifying toner.

Today, I just bid on some lovely leather boots.

I never buy cd's or perfume from the shops now either as there is always someone selling what you are looking for for a fraction of the cost, and if when they turn up, you don't like them, then you can sell them back on ebay.

Fantastic - I love it!!

I love Boden - they've got 10% off and free postage at the moment and some lovely spring stuff. Also, look on their sale website, there's a few bits left from last summre (limited sizes) at really low prices.

My name is Minniemarie (actually Marion) and I am an Ebay addict. I've had to cut myself off, I was getting addicted to the adrenalin rush :rotfl: I am currently wearing a suede coat and black leather boots both from ebay both bought on the same day for next to nothing, well that's what I keep telling myself :scratchin

Love Boden too! Will check out their site after this and might nab a bargain or two or three....
