where to buy disposable ponchos

You are second poster that has said this. I wouldn't expect a disposable item to last more than once. Isn't that the point? I don't want to lug a wet piece of plastic around when the rain clears nor do I want to worry about drying 5 of them in a small resort bathroom or end up having to pack them wet into a suitcase for our return.

There are certainly benefits to both products.

The dollar store ones don't explicitly say disposable so some people may hope to get a day or two of rain out of them. I have found that the dollar store ones are so flimsy that if it's even a little windy, they just blow up and down. And if you have hair - forget about the hood staying up. Plus they're sleeveless.

I've found them at Walmart. If you have a local Coleman store, they have them too. I've never had any luck finding them at our local dollar stores, Dollar Tree and I can't remember the other.

We bring a few of the Dollar Tree cheapies and our heavier camping ponchos.

10% chance of rain? Tuck in the cheap ones just in case.
80% chance of rain? Grab the heavy weight ponchos.
100% chance of riding Kali? Grab the cheap ones! Then pass them forward to someone in line!
