Hello, we will be headed down there this weekend and want an adult couple Disney costume for a separate Halloween party. The unofficial ones we've seen in stores here are kind of sad. Do you know where I can find it at Disneyland or if they sell adult costumes at all? I'm thinking World of Disney in downtown but no one answers when I call and I've never been there before. Please advise. Thanks!

I have never seen them and I don't imagine they would sell them in the parks, since they don't want adults to wear them in the parks.

Disneystore used to sell MANY adult costumes, both in the stores, and online (catalog back then!)

I still see so many of these costumes in the parks, they were very well made. I have some myself, Tigger, Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Buzz Lightyear, Captain Hook, Jack and Sally, and Jack Sparrow. Oh yes, I also have Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee. I used to have more, Dalmations, Pooh, the Genie, etc. I have loaned them out over the years..... some don't come back.

These costumes are often seen for sale on Ebay.

Surprisingly I bought a nice quality queen on hearts costume at walmart (in canada). Hubby got his dark mad hatter costume from a pop up halloween store. Maybe you can get your costume locally?

I didn't see any adult sized costumes being sold in the parks either two weeks ago. They do have hoodies that resemble various characters (e.g., Buzz Lightyear) for sale, but not full sized costumes like they do for little kids. As others have said, you're going to have to look at non-Disney stores to find something. Good luck!

What sized adults? I've never actually tried a costume on, but I'm a slim (but wide hipped) 5'7", and I fit into x-large kids stuff there. Depending on height the sleeves etc. might be a little short, but it could be worth a try!

I've only seen little kids' costumes at DLR. Maybe up to age 10, so maybe a L for kids, I don't think I've ever seen XL for kids.

The problem with the adult costumes at the Disney store is the price. My DD13 is just out of the kid's extra large (she has a large ribcage and has developed) - and she wanted to be Merida. She could get into the girls XL - but it was just a little too tight and not designed for somebody with a bit of chest. But there was no way I was going to spend $100s of dollars on a costume.

I ended up buying a green dress at Ross and some gold satin and making modification to the arms and neckline. Oh and we bought her a bow and arrow in the parks. I still spend about $40 on the costume - but that is much better than the ones I was finding online.
