Where to add on?

Currently we have ***ONLY*** 155 points... We own 30 BWV points and 125 BLT points. We also have a Dec UY...

And I want to add on. I am looking at about 50 points and dont know where to buy them... I wont be adding on until later in the summer, as long as i do it before Dec 1, I should get '09 points.

I would like to add on at either BWV, BLT or AKL... If I find the right BWV resale, 40-70 points with a Dec UY, I will just buy that... I dont need to finance if I am in the $3,000 to $6,000 range.

Also, I would like more BLT points as 125 really dont go all that far there! So, 175 would be ALOT nicer!

Now, AKL is where we seem to be spending many of our trips there! We have taken our in-laws already and will be taking them again in Dec. And they LOVE AKL! Whenever they go, that is where they want to stay.

I plan on adding on 25-75 points at a time until I get to about 400-500 points! Just doing it at a slower pace.

Any input would be great!

I would buy where you love to stay. Having small contracts at multiple resorts is more work than it's worth IMHO.

I ABSOLUTELY agree with buy where you want to stay. From your description, I'd probably add at AKV for your next contract to give you home resort there. With banking and borrowing you can pick a different resort in different years for your ressies. I own 321 points total- 160 BLT, 50 VGC, 75 AKV, and 36 VWL, specifically because I want to book at 11 months at various times. I plan to try all the DVC resorts eventually, but book at 11 months and then change at 7 if I can; I like to always have something booked to look forward to! Good luck with your choice!

I suggest checking The Timeshare Store site daily. They are great to deal with. We're currently adding on again through them.

If the home resort isn't important go with whom ever has the cheapest dues.

I bought my first contract, the 30 BWV points, thru Jerry at TSS. I would definetly use them again!

The part where home resort doesnt matter and cheaper dues does, doesnt not fly with me!
