Do ratings change at all AFTER a movie has been released? Just curious.
Yes, they do. The neat thing about rottentomatoes is that they also take ratings from minor website reviewers. These "lesser" reviewers often don't get tickets to the screeners, so they have to wait until the actual movie comes out. By tomorrow night, the rating will have settled to within 1% point of where it will end up.
As I said, I would still see this movie if you like the book. There are many movies that RT has being "rotten" (less than 60% approval) which I enjoy. But usually those are only comedies. Reviewers tend to be really harsh on comedies. On about everything else, RT is about spot on.
