Great pictures from Hawaii. We have a good friend who is a stunt double for a couple of the main characters of the Pirates series. We ran into his parents when we were home this summer on vacation. They told us that there would be a #5 as well because our friend had already been signed.

I have only seen one Pirates movies - the first one. I'm not so into them, and Johnny Depp is not my type, but the pictures are cool, and that is a beautiful place.

Good luck with the school shopping. I think I am going to run up to Target in a little while and price the plastic animals they have for my Rafiki's Planet Watch area of my room. Target has, in the past anyway, had some very realistic looking animals, so I hope they still have them.

It has been a good summer, but it is clearer every day that it is about to end.

Chelsea heard that Target has locker disco balls, so she is all about getting one of those.

Oh, lordy, don't let Maggie find out about this...she'd be all over that! My kids go back August 30, and they are already chomping at the bit to start shopping.

The plate of bread and olives is free, and I am not sure the actual etiquette, but Chelsea wore her button all week. I think most people do.

sweet on the bread...wonder if they do that fo lunch too. I think most likely I will have the girls wear their buttons all week too...but I may space it out so eac one can get a little "alone" attention too...

ahh back to school...yes I did the shopping for the twins last Friday...and then of course after labeling everything, Bekah found some things we needed that we already had downstairs doh! oh well...you know they'll lose something...

Madison doesn't start school until Sept 7th, but we've already gotten all of her school supplies. They sent the list home on the last day of school this year which was quite nice. They usually don't send it out until mid-August.

I am sure he's okay with that, because I can assure you that I do nothing for him, as well.

I should be more up to date on my Pirate watching, though, simply because it is Disney,
so I plead stupidity, and will try to do better in the future. I think the boys have one or two of the movies around here.

There are several soccer jersey type shirts in all the different countries -- they are there year-round. The next day, the shops were already clearing out most of the World Cup shirts -- we were able to snag the ones Charles and his BIL wanted, but they were disappearing fast.


If the reservation is in your name. Can I just tell you that I am so glad I made it in my full name, and not just Jackie? Hearing "Jacqueline" called out by an Italian was quite, quite nice.



Yes, make sure birthday buttons are in full view and remind them at the podium when you check in that you are celebrating birthdays.

I can't wait to hear "Cynthia" in a lovely Italian accent!

I bet it's hard for you to believe summer is almost over, your trip is done and that you all have to head back to work already. Sometimes reality bites. Chelsea is a TRIP! Morghan started middle school last year so making her locker "cool" was a big priority too. I hope Target still had some of them in stock! Will you let me know how much they were by chance too?
