If you have booked through Disney you can phone up and ask for it to be added to your booking and then you pay for it in advance
Thanks. Yes, we are booked through Disney. I'll try and ring them after the holidays.
I feel like a novice all over again. Normally I go with my boyfriend for extended weekends and we stay offsite. It's my first time ever going for 5 days, staying onsite and doing character meals... boyfriend never agreed to go to one as much as I tried to bribe him.
If I remember correctly its the booking line you ring not the one to make restaurant reservations
when we went we saw children having cakes in Cafe Micke, Inventions and Auburge and Cafe Micke was the most fun with real loud music and the characters joining in. In Inventions and Auburge it was just servers who bought out a cake singing
I had mine brought to me in Inventions by characters and have also seen the Princesses join in in Auberge. The only problem with a cake in Inventions is there are so many yummy desserts anyhow the cake is yet more food whereas in Cafe Mickey You can use it as dessert instead of ordering one
can anyone tell me how much the cake is in cafe mickey? thinking of doing this as a birthday treat for my daughter (although it won't actually be her birthday on that day). also, in the evening, what time do the characters apear from - is it 6pm? we want to eat late enough to see them, but as early as possible!
yes, the characters start coming out just after 6pm in the evening at Cafe Mickey. If you've booked your hotel with Disney, you can pay in advance for your birthday cake by adding it to your package, this is cheaper than waiting until you get there. I think its around £20 to add it to your package in advance.
