And what was that "deal" for AKL??????????

Picture yourself at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge surrounded by 33 acres of African savannah. In the morning, you stroll outside and enjoy the wildlife that passes by. In the evening, you dine at an award-winning restaurant and enjoy stories told by the glow of an outdoor fireplace. Now picture doing all that with the savings trucked neatly away in your wallet. Because most nights from 2/17/03 through 4/9/03 you can save $115* per night on a stay at this authentic African Resort in the middle of the Disney magic for just $174** per night!

But you have to hurry and book soon. The number of rooms available with this offer is limited. Just call (407) 560-PASS (7277) and ask for code CCQ.

*Savings based on nondiscounted rate for the same room.
**Tax is not included. Additional per-adult charges apply if more than to adults (18 or older) per room. Prices and other terms subject to change without notice. No group rates or other discounts apply. Valid Passholder I.D. required at check-in. Advance reservations required. Other resorts and room types available at varying rates.

We're anxiously awaiting the June AP rates. Being really bored and extremely frustrated playing the waiting game, I did a search here for when the summer rates came out last year. Apparently the AP rates for 4/21 - 9/30 came out Jan 26th...I've read this was much earlier than usual, but just thought I'd toss this little tidbit in here.

Peachgirl, it looks like we're going at the same time. I have also been waiting for an Ap rate. 3 days ago I decided to call, using a rate I found on Mousesavers.com ( she asks not to post the code on the disboards, although it can be found on many of these threads anyway.) Anyway, using that code I saved $90 a night on our 2 nights at the GF. 2 nights is all I can afford - Graduation present for daughter who has always wanted to stay there. I doubt the AP rate will be much better than that.

Yes, it looks like we're both hunting for the same time frame.
Actually, there was a rather long, unpleasant discussion about posting codes from mousesavers a few days ago. Mary posted with a clarification that the only codes she requests not be posted are the codes or special offers that are exclusive to her newsletter. There's no problem with posting information from her website. I'm assuming you're talking about the AXA code? I had a DC discount for OKW and re-booked using the AXA code. It saved me an additional $200 for 5 nights. AP rates for last summer were around 35%, this code gives me about 15% off. I don't know how plentiful AP rates are for OKW, but I'm hoping I can get something better than what I have now. If not, it's certainly better than no discount at all!

yes, thanks for the clarification on what we can post from Mousesavers. I haven't read this board for 3 days, so I missed that thread. It was the AXA code that I used to knock off $180 for 2 nights at the GF. We will also be 4 days at the Swan with the teacher discount.
