Just wondering is the DME desk far from Delta gates and are there signs to let us know the directions... looked at MCO's map and that was just about confusing...

From Delta's gates to DME.

Leaving the plane, follow the usual Baggage Claim / Ground Transportation signs where you will come to a small food court and a tram or "monorail" station.

Getting off the tram in the main terminal and exiting security out into the open (the Hyatt atrium) turn left, you'll see a 3 foot high neon B on the wall overhead. Make your way down to the lowest level (Level 1). With the windows to the outside on your left, walk all the way down the corridor past all the car rental counters.

Abstract description. As you exit security, imagine yourself at the goal post of a football stadium. You want to get under the left grandstand at the 10 yard line all the way downfield.

It will be obvious. Each concourse is connected to the main terminal by these elevated trains. Like PP said follow the signs to Baggage and you will get to the train.

The corridor from the gates themselves takes you to a small food court. Everyone must take the tram from there to the main terminal.

There is a bigger food court in the very center of the main terminal. Think of the center circle of a basketball court where again the side grandstands correspond to the A side and B side and where you exit security is near one of the baskets.

If you take a meal break in the main terminal food court, it is easy to become disoriented but there are additional big neon A's and B's on the side walls (not in direct line of sight from all restaurants), as well as other signs, to guide you. (You want the B.)

When you get off the plane, you follow the crowd..they willl all be going to the same place you want to go...the trams. Get on the tram. When you arrive at the main terminal, again, follow the crowd. They know where they are going. As you enter the main terminal, look up and to the side. You will see signage, in bright neon, that says Side A and Side B. Go to the Side B sign. You are on level 3 when you get off the tram, you want to go down to level 1. You can take either elevators or escalators...I combine. I take the escalator that is under the Side B side (at least that's how it's laid out where I arrive from) down to level 2, baggage claim, and then take the elevator down to level 1 and head down to DME...at the end of the bldg.
It's really very easy to find.
