My greatest pet peeve are the folks driving in the left lane, below the speed limit, holding up traffic, completely oblivious. You try to be patient, thinking to yourself, "surely they will realize they are holding up a line of cars 20+ long", but alas. Then you have to pass them on the right, which I try very hard not to do, glance over and they are talking on their cell phone. Grumble, grumble, grumble. Sadly I have turned into a pretty aggressive driver, I drive 100 miles RT a day and it makes me super grumpy. BTW-the above pet peeve has happened 4 times the past work week and it was a holiday week so only 4 work days.
On leggings: I am not opposed, however am super jealous of those that look really good in them.
On potatoes: a friend gave me a cloth pocket type sleeve that you put the potatoes in for microwave cooking, you don't have to poke holes in the potatoes to cook them and they don't dry out in the microwave, and they cook nicely.
On grammar: mine is so-so and I only get peeved about it, mostly, in work emails.
On the 50 states: I know the 50 states and the general location of the states, however my global location skills are lacking.
On wearing jeans: I agree, jeans are uncomfortable and for me are unflattering to my shape, I wear dress slacks on casual Friday.
On those trapped in their cell phones: there have been multiple times, while I'm pulling into the parking lot at work, of people totally engrossed in their phones and not once looking up as they cross the street, right in front of my car turning into the parking lot. I also have an inner laugh at the cell phone people who miss their floors while on the elevator, then looking at you like it's your fault for not being their personal elevator monitor.
On the use of unthaw: guilty.
This thread has been fun.
