Where In The World Sweet 16

 You're farther behind than I am! Need to go over my gift list and get the holiday cooking menu's done (with a trip to the grocery store) and then I can FINALLY wrap gifts! :woohoo: Finished the school activities tonight with Redstorm's band concert:

She's been sick with strep throat this week but made it through school today so she could perform. Half day tomorrow and they're done! Just in time...the kids are "dropping like flies" with strep throat and/or the flu. It's TIME for the winter break! :santa: :tink:

Glad she is feeling better.

I do have most of my gifts wrapped. I have a few left. I ran out of wrapping paper and just picked up some tonight. Should be done tomorrow. Trying to find time for baking this weekend. Saturday have to go to my nieces daughter's birthday party and Sunday is the track meet. I have to make whoopee pies and they take soooooo long to make. Then Tues or Wed make a banana cake. Kids wanted it for Thanksgiving but I like pies for Thanksgiving so I promised I would make one for Christmas. Then I have to make pierogis. We always have ham and pierogis. Usually my father comes over and helps because it takes at least 4 hours and that is preparing the filling the day before. But this year my cousin asked if we wanted to go over and make a bunch some for us and some for them. So we are doing that Tues when I get out of work or Wed morning. I took Wed off since I never get time off and took Fri off too.:cool1:

Christmas cards are signed, sealed and stamped ... :dance3:! I'm celebrating by posting this crop...

I LOVE pierogis! Never even attempted to make them though! I literally have ZERO gifts wrapped. :faint: Between kids/grandkids/nieces/nephews/great-nephews/Godchildren & friends I'm probably looking at 75 or so to wrap! THAT'S why I "Christmas shop" throughout the year! :rotfl2: Banana cake sounds good too but our "sweets" menu is 50% CANDY; 30% COOKIES (including Rum Balls); 15% "finger food" (like Little Smokies wrapped in bacon and sweetened with brown sugar :lovestruc) with 5% "healthy finger foods"! :cloud9: There's an occasional pecan pie but mostly that homemade candy! Glad you took Wednesday off...you deserve it! :thumbsup2 I get a whole week off from my part time job...but it's the week AFTER Christmas! That's okay...gives me a chance to sleep late except for the 26th..."Santa" is bringing tickets to the Rockette's performance in Houston for "the girls". :yay: VERY excited about that! :santa::tink:

:scared1: Wow...we are in the midst of a BAD storm :scared1:! Diane gets all that pretty snow :rotfl: ... we get thunder, lightening, wind and HEAVY rain! :santa: :tink:

You won't believe this but the forecast for Christmas day here is 54 degrees with rain and chance of thunder.:lmao: Last week it was going to snow, I'm sure by next week it will change again.:rotfl2: Thu fun of living in New England.:rotfl2:

Karolyn, I need to meet Redstorm. She's like a younger me! I played soccer (though not at a competitive level) AND play the flute. And our uniform 7th/8th grade was of course the awful bowtie/cummerbund combination, except ours were TEAL. I'll have to ask my dad if we can track down some of the photos from my concerts.

I am 98% done with Christmas stuff. Presents are all wrapped and under the tree (except Belle's, which are hidden safely in the top of the pantry). Not sure when we'll open them though, as tomorrow morning I fly to Naples (well, technically Miami and then we're driving to Naples) to spend Christmas with Joe's grandmother. We'll be there until Christmas Day, and then we fly back at 9:30 that night, landing back home at 11:45 :faint: And then I have to be back at work on Friday. And Saturday. I haven't even packed yet. Belle is staying at my mom's for the trip, so she'll have Sienna and Apawlo to keep her from being lonely.

So if you don't hear from me much in the next few days, that's why! I wish all of you dear friends here a very Merry Christmas!!! :santa:

I'm REALLY looking forward to the Rockettes! My BFF and I took our granddaughters 5-6 years ago and LOVED it...always been a fan! With Little Bit into dancing as she is we figured this would be the "icing on the cake" for her for Christmas! :yay: As for your Christmas forecast....WHAT??? :crazy2: :lmao: We're suppose to be in the low 70's :furious:; I HATE having to turn the AC on to make it FEEL like Christmas! :crazy2:

I TOTALLY agree...you and Redstorm sound like "2 peas in a pod"! :rotfl: Didn't you just LOVE those Jr. High band uniforms? :rotfl2: And...you forgot to add your "like" dogs on the list :rotfl2:! DD is always interested in taking the girls to different states so we may have to arrange a trip for a visit! Have a safe trip; sounds hectic but is SO worth it to be with family. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU & JOE too! :santa: :tink:

Diane...the new lobby at the Poly was revealed today and I DO NOT LIKE IT! :sad2: I saw the picture on Facebook earlier and now I can't find the link back but...trust me...I WANT THE ATRIUM BACK! JEFF...you usually have "time on your hands" :rotfl2: ... see if you can find it...may have been on DisDining :confused3 ... can't remember....:santa: :tink:

:yay: Jeff has already located the country...this is from Japan. :goodvibes :santa: :tink:

Ok NOT as fan of the new lobby.:sad2: Lame "water feature":sad2: I don't like the light things hanging.:headache: At least they kept the hidden Mickey.:thumbsup2 I wonder if they kept the wall of hidden Mickeys as you were going up the stairs. Bring back the old lobby.

Is it in the garden? Or someting to do with the drums?
