I remember "my first time"...and (hopefully) last time ! Sure hope it wasn't as embarrassing for you as it was for Redstorm. She was waiting in front of the JR. HIGH SCHOOL WITH ALL THE STUDENTS WAITING FOR RIDES the last time I was pulled over! Hope you just got a warning like I did!

I hope you didn't get a ticket.

It's that season. Joe got pulled on Black Friday, and unfortunately DID get a ticket. We won't talk about how fast he was going, but suffice it to say we have hired a lawyer I can't be but so mad at him though, because I don't always do the speed limit either. Unless I'm driving my youth kids, in which case I barely go one over.

He didn't give me a ticket. He said he "doesn't like giving tickets out around Christmas." So at least that was good.

How sweet! I didn't get one either and "learned my lesson" for a few weeks. My car doesn't go 30 mph unless I keep my foot on the brake ...that's just to darn slow even for a city street! I ALWAYS set my cruise on the highway or I'd have a whole collections of tickets!

Ooohhh those lectures ...I just finished sending a message to youngest daughter...the speed limit coming into the city limits from her house has been lowered to that stupid 30 mph too! She's usually going about 50 on that stretch!

No Ma'am...not on a trash can either....the object associated with this crop is MUCH larger....

You're farther behind than I am! Need to go over my gift list and get the holiday cooking menu's done (with a trip to the grocery store) and then I can FINALLY wrap gifts! Finished the school activities tonight with Redstorm's band concert:

She's been sick with strep throat this week but made it through school today so she could perform. Half day tomorrow and they're done! Just in time...the kids are "dropping like flies" with strep throat and/or the flu. It's TIME for the winter break!
