Crazy few days ahead for us complicated by much needed rain! We got almost 3 inches today ; Allie had that much or maybe more in Brownwood yesterday! Good to get rain but boy is it messing up the end of soccer season on grass field! They play 2 remaining games and the 3 teams involved all have a chance at the final tournament spot so the games must be played. The game for 5 this evening had to be postponed until tomorrow at 11 (they had to DRAIN the field and try to dry it all day today!) which makes it impossible for any of us to attend since the football team has a road trip game tomorrow night an hour "down the road" in the opposite direction we'd be coming from AND the pep rally tomorrow at 1:30 features the Senior dancers in the Brahmadoras! So far the Saturday game is still on schedule for 5 BUT more rain moving in tomorrow afternoon/evening into Saturday morning. If that one has to be postponed it would be Sunday . Then we go through the whole who wins, who looses and what happens if any of the games end in a tie and IF they make the playoffs the first game is already on Tuesday (Halloween) either in Brownwood or Marshall (between 4 & 5 hours north of us)! Never thought they'd be in the possible playoff situation but now that they're SO close hope they can keep their acts together and get at least 1 victory and tie out of the next 2 games no matter how crazy our schedule will be!

Afternoon Pep Rally featuring Brahmadora Seniors..."sultry in pink" ! Been raining since noon but road trip destination shows rain ending at 6...keeping our fingers crossed that's the case!

Not many photo opportunities tonight being the visiting team but Katie was pretty proud of herself for catching TWO "after touchdown" footballs AND the Dora Senior Officers got to "run the flag" at the end of the game...which we missed since we left when the score was 58-0 since we have to get up early to get to Saturday soccer game! Final was 72-0 in the "record breaking" game. We now have THREE running backs who've run 1,000 + yards this season and 1 more game before season ends and playoffs begin!

Won both games this weekend so looks like they're #3 seed in tournament and should get to host a game Tuesday...but...get this....temperature is suppose to be in the 30's with wind chill in the 20's!!! So Allie gets another game but I MAY NOT BE THERE! Not sure if I'm ready for that yet!!! On the way home now. Just stopped for coffee and should make it home by midnight. No alarm for me tomorrow!

Cool front has arrived ; high of 91 here at home yesterday and currently at a seasonable 68 and loving it! Sure wish it would STAY at that not temperature NOT in the 30's (and upper 20's in Brownwood for game on Tuesday evening!)
