This is part of a park Christmas display. It's a present but not under a tree. :tink:

Was it in a park? Epcot or HS?

We were expecting crowds Friday-Sunday but crowd calendar I looked at before we booked showed "really low" crowds the next week! 🤣 Disney Springs on Friday was busy but we tried to leave before the "evening crowd" arrived. Plus...we were SO tired! 5 hours sleep the Wednesday before Thanksgiving; 4 hours on Friday before our 7 AM flight and we ready to get back, unpack and go to bed. Saturday at AK wasn't "crowded" but had pretty long waits. Dinosaur was the shortest, only about 30 minutes but Safari was 45. We ate lunch after that and went back to the resort until later. Night crowd was awful. We opted for Na'vi River Ride since Amanda can't do FoP and she'd never been on that one. It was over an hour which included a couple of delays for ride malfunction. We were expecting a crowded Epcot on Sunday but did Remi at rope drop and it was only a little over 30 minutes. Our plan was to do Frozen next but it was down until mid-afternoon and the wait time at one point was 120 minutes when it started so we missed that one. Soarin', Living With the Land and Test Track weren't bad and SSE was a walk on in the evening. We were expecting lighter crowds starting Monday but didn't happen...anytime!

Amanda started feeling her "cold" Tuesday afternoon. That was our party day and she stuck it out but was pretty miserable. We witnessed a lot of "coughing, sneezing, etc.". The friend of another Disboard's friend came down with the flu during his trip. Amanda left Wednesday morning and her flight was miserable but she made it. David spent 75% of Thursday in bed. He went to HS about an hour but couldn't continue. Forced himself to get up in the evening and pack. I was SO tired; coughed all Wednesday night but felt better during the day. Woke up Friday morning with a VERY stuffy head and it's been downhill since. David stayed home from work today. I had an awful night last night; gave myself a "panic attack" when I couldn't breathe at 2 AM and was extremely dizzy from the stuffy head. FINALLY found a doctor's appointment available tomorrow morning at 8; not with my regular doctor (she's booked up ALL week) but at this point I took what I could get. I'm still so dizzy I won't even let myself drive. David had to run a few errands for me this morning. It's been a long time since since I've had a cold that's THIS bad! :headache::tink:

It sounds like you both got it pretty bad. Hope you feel better soon,

WS or FW?

Doctor's appointment done and meds on the way :dance3: ! Perfect timing to demonstrate the "coughing issues" 😅...COULDN'T STOP! Every time he asked me a question I'd have to excuse myself and spend a minute trying to control the cough! He said that prescription should do the trick! 🤞

France or Canada?

Hopefully the meds will kick in soon.

UK or Germany?

Are you feeling better?

🤞 FINALLY seemed to have turned the corner. Used 3 different "home remedies" last night before bedtime and avoided the 3 AM "coughing fit" that's disrupted my sleep every night this week. Managed to get most of the house cleaned today and David finished when he got home. Cooked dinner this evening and for the first time in a week actually had an appetite. Can barely keep my eyes open now but DO feel better. Allie got home yesterday and I've made everyone stay away from us but hoping by this weekend I can get my "Allie hug" :goodvibes. They going to New York City Dec.17-22nd with the Brahmadora seniors and sure didn't want to give any of them this "bug". This is longest either one of us has been "down" in a long time but hoping it's finally ending! Thanks for asking! :goodvibes

Finally finished reviewing about half of my photos. Took 3,721 photos :goodvibes . Only being in the MK for a couple hours of sunlight cut down a lot on my total but didn't go as planned. We'd hoped to park hop to the MK on Thursday afternoon but that's when David spent the afternoon in bed and I was already running out of energy. I'd reserved HS for that day and spent a few hours there in the late morning until about 2 PM. Instead of going over to the MK I decided I'd better just go back to the resort and start packing since I was getting really tired. Instead of packing, I slept about 45 minutes. Just didn't feel like riding the bus over to the MK so took the Skyliner back to Epcot for the last evening. (Having the Skyliner available at the POP is WONDERFUL; we absolutely LOVED using it for transportation!) Here are a few of my Epcot favorites. LOVED the Christmas decorations in Living With the Land....especially at night! A nice family offered to take your picture and I'm obsessed :rotfl: with those "gnarly" trees! I'd not noticed them in the Italy area of Epcot before.
