That's why David would LOVE living in the country...NO NEIGHBORS! Good news on Tootsie; heck...I DON'T FEEL LIKE WALKING when it gets really hot! Just got back from my sisters and helping her set up her "Garage Mart" sale this weekend. I was out 1 1/2 hours and told her I couldn't do it anymore ! Didn't feel good and took my blood pressure when I got home...it was 95/66 ...THAT explained why I was dizzy, disoriented, had a headache and SOOOOOOO tired! Been working on raising the numbers as I cool off. I noticed this morning the temperatures on the Washington and Oregon coasts were "a little cooler" so hopefully the heat wave has "broken"!

You have low blood pressure? I have to keep an eye on mine getting too high.

I'm a day away from the coast. It's 106 here which was my high yesterday and I have 3 more hours of warm up and 5 more hours of torture before the sun will go over the mountain. Tootsie is hanging in there.. She seems to be getting more used to our routine; you get 2 bites, a pour over maybe a good spritz with the hose then lay down and I put cold wet towels on her. I do that every 30 min and make sure she stays in the shade.

GOOD mood this afternoon; my white crepe myrtle is blooming for the FIRST TIME EVER (guess our February freeze "woke it up"); Allie joined us briefly for dinner between soccer lessons (she's done GREAT the past few weeks with private soccer lessons....added 5 students this week alone ); David completing the backsplash area of the cabinets and finally getting brave enough to check my latest report from our financial advisor , it's been a good day!

I'm on BP pills FOR high blood pressure which is one reason I was concerned. When I had my PET stress test it was excellent...118/65 both before and after the test so the reading this morning was LOW. I drank a glass of tea with sugar and ate a cookie which seemed to help. Had been running 140/68 lately....told my heart doctor "Disney World did the trick"!

It doesn't take long for animals to get in a routine. When we had to move Boo to the playroom because of the remodeling it only took her a couple of days to "learn" where she needed to go. Weather Channel has encouraging news on the "heat wave"....hope they're right!
