I'll start with the MK.

We have kitchen LIGHTS , cabinet pulls AND backsplash! Don't know why it shows up with a yellow tint on the picture ...well, I do...one of my camera settings needs to be changed but was to lazy to figure out which one! Plus...a CUTE little visitor on the back patio! Of course, David is gone visiting his sister in Katy and I'm not brave enough to try and catch it to relocate it to the "back pasture" so Boo and I are staying out of the backyard for now.

Well its HOT here around 50c which is around 122f


This is one of the worse heat waves we have every had


Every hotel is booked which is AC, lucky over the weekend we were able to get one downtown. For a night for the kids and dog. Which was great, and the kids loved it but we are back home with no AC and only fans blowing the hot air around. It is suppose to start cooling off in the next few days



The kids are in Daycare today because James is done school for the year, so they have AC and I am in the office with has AC too but Emily is at home melting, the dog is over at my moms place because it’s a bit cooler here because she is living down stairs while they work on the up stairs Reno

this is what last night looked like we all slept on the main floor

OMG 122 and no AC it was 99 yesterday when I got out of work and 98 today. All of our AC have been running non stop since Sunday. Can’t wait to see the electric bill next month. Pool is up to 76.

Think of it as "the great 2021 adventure"! I can't imagine being without AC but then I remember that heat doesn't happen very often for y'all! You have all got to be absolutely miserable! Keep those kiddos as cool as possible; at least they're in AC during the worse part of the day! Will continue thinking about you and hoping you're able to find some relief! PS...if it gets REALLY bad, just remember we have 6 MONTHS of that heat down here! Along with the HIGH utility bills from running the AC 24/7.

At that rate your pool water will be as hot as ours in a few days! I haven't been brave enough to even go online to check our utility bill for this month! The "bad news" should hit our mailbox Thursday! Not only do we have the AC use but the power tools from the kitchen cabinet build and the fans from the painting! It's still hard to believe y'all are all 10+ degrees hotter than we are! We've got "storms brewing" today so pretty miserable right along with you today....humidity is like 90% ; I went out to check on pool filter and "melted"!

Wow Jeff! I would think you'd have a/c though I'm sure it has never, ever been 122 there before. Ever! Can you buy a window unit? a portable unit? I had a window unit, thank goodness! I wouldn't be making it through this without it. But it's in the front room, the tv computer are in the back room. I have ordered one of those portable ones, it won't be here until Friday but I'll be ready next time. And it's only cooling off to the 90's after this. Today is our hottest day. It's 100 now at 11:55. It's supposed to get up to 110 today. 109 tomorrow. I know lots of people up here who do not have any a/c. They have blankets over their windows to keep out the light.

I hate to think this is our new normal and thank goodness there haven't been any fires near me!!! and thank goodness I haven't lost my power!

But I am getting a lot of use out of my Disney cooling cloth. It does really help.
