Wow Jeff! I would think you'd have a/c though I'm sure it has never, ever been 122 there before. Ever! Can you buy a window unit? a portable unit? I had a window unit, thank goodness! I wouldn't be making it through this without it. But it's in the front room, the tv computer are in the back room. I have ordered one of those portable ones, it won't be here until Friday but I'll be ready next time. And it's only cooling off to the 90's after this. Today is our hottest day. It's 100 now at 11:55. It's supposed to get up to 110 today. 109 tomorrow. I know lots of people up here who do not have any a/c. They have blankets over their windows to keep out the light.
I hate to think this is our new normal and thank goodness there haven't been any fires near me!!! and thank goodness I haven't lost my power!
But I am getting a lot of use out of my Disney cooling cloth. It does really help.
yes we bought a window unit but it will not be here for another week, thou
we had a portable one before but it broke and we did not know about it before it was too late and every where is out.
yes this heat is not normal for us at all. we are not built for heat up here lol

... like we're not built for the cold down here! At least, with our fireplace, we can always stay warm. Not much you can do with the heat w/o AC. I "feel your pain"...when we loose power during a hurricane it's MISERABLE. The only "hint" I have is "the less clothes you have on the better"!

, it's been a good day!
! I remember many days where Mama wouldn't "let"
! Didn't feel good and took my blood pressure when I got home...it was 95/66
