Sun set on the Brahmanette season tonight but only a few tears shed...mostly by Katie since this was probably her last soccer game! She's ready to concentrate on dance to finish out her high school years but we'll see. She was the only freshman sub Coach put in the game and she played the final 20 minutes; did a pretty good job too of keeping up with those FAST girls! They never expected to get to Round 3 of the State Playoffs...only 1 game short of the finals had they won tonight....so they were happy with their season. Really hard to take pictures tonight looking directly into the sun but still put away some good memories for the girls.

The "amazing" freshman....Allie and her "sidekick" Cami and you'd have thought they WON the game with as much noise as they were making when the bus arrived back at school....and the "decorated freshman" that got off that bus!

Pretty sunset. We got some snow flurries today I bet Allie is glad to be home.

WHAT? ❄ Y'all aren't done YET? We're actually about 20 degrees cooler this evening than we were 24 hours ago but temps will be back in the 70's by Sunday. At least I didn't have to wear my jacket tonight! Allie is SUPER glad to be home! It's been a LONG 3 months for her. She and Cami were busy making plans for tomorrow already after the game tonight! And she's SO ready for some "home cooking"!

I thought we were done. we had a few warmer days upper 50's. I cooked on the grill one day. It didn't last it's been chilly the past few days and it was 10 degrees this morning.

TEN DEGREES! I can't imagine! I thought about putting shorts on this morning! Sending Olaf's "warm hugs"! DOWNSIDE to "spring in Texas"...allergies are kicking my butt! And the bad thing....I don't know if the pain is from sinus infection or from my teeth! Trying to decide if I should call the emergency number for the oral surgeon or just keep taking allergy pills. I can already tell I'm going to have a miserable Easter weekend. And David's going to start removing more cabinets this afternoon so I'll be able to "cut the dust with a knife"!
