Is it from the Storybook Circus in the MK? :tink:

Oh wow...y'all ARE shut down! o_O I would HOPE they close the office too; what did you have to do today to keep yourself busy? :tink:

NOTHING :bored: Not even anyone to talk to. Just me and Laura in the office. Brad and Matt are in meetings. Laura doesn't talk to me at all, which is fine with me I really have nothing to say to her. But it's hard to sit there all day and not talk to anyone while you're sitting there doing nothing.

I was talking to a teacher here and she said they couldn't teach on line. It wouldn't be "equitable" Not everyone up here has a computer or the internet at home. Poor kids, you see them huddled outside the library so they can get WiFi on the weekends. The library is not open on the weekends. Or at all now...... :(

I hope the district will excuse this time off and not have them make it up. The school I work in distributed chromebooks to every student in the school at the beginning of the year. So they already have a computer and the area cable companies are offering free internet while schools are closed if students don't have it. The younger kids in the elementary school were given homework packets to take home and complete at home. The school district I work in I heard is posting worksheets and assignments on line and are offering chromebooks to any student that doesn't have access to a computer.

Not everyone has internet here either but the school will do like Diane's and make paper homework available. Allie and Katie don't have internet in their area! They'll come here to do online work. Speaking of internet OURS has been down since 5 PM along with cable and phone! MAJOR emergency repairs! I HATE using my phone for internet! Treavor is finally on his way home. He "threw" his last match so he could get out of Vegas! The hotel gave the tournament 2 hours to finish...they were shutting everything down. Police cars in front of closed hotels and NO one at airport. Walked straight through security! 35 passengers on his flight; 155 empty seats!!! He said it was SPOOKY as hell and he just wanted to "get the hell out"! AND to top the evening off; his mother (who came home with us) tested POSITIVE for THE FLU today!!!! This crap is getting real!

How boring! Sure hope they let you stay home after tomorrow! And...I wouldn't want to talk to Laura either!🤪
