Where In The World 21. We are now completely legal!!!

HS, Sorcerer's hat? Either on top, side or bottom of it?
Yeah there was a large one under the hat. It surrounded the kiosk there. I thought they had some other arrangements of these smaller swirly stars atop of poles or in shrubbery planters in the courtyard where the hat used to be. Or maybe down the alley near the commissary?? Not sure?? It's all changed so much there with Star Wars stuff!!

Sorry to crash y'all's party but had a few moments this morning. Hope ya don't mind. I didn't see if this one got ID'd.
That's the place I was thinking about! It's on Discovery Island, right? Near the Micky/Minnie meet and greet?

dfb...NO "party crashers" here...EVERYONE is welcomed to play...we WELCOME new players! :wave2:

I actually thought someone would get this on first guess since it was relatively easy! I was looking for the name, Smiling Crocodiles ...

From Facebook...this is really, really breaking my heart 😢; when I think I may not see her class members again in school activities this year I get tears in my eyes. I can't imagine how they feel. 😪

If there’s a high school senior in your life, give them a hug and pray for them. To them, the cancellation of school is not a vacation. It’s wasted time they don’t get to spend with their friends the last few months before they graduate. They’re anxious, realizing they may never be able to take the field again with their best friends and hear their name called on senior night. They’re sad hearing their senior trip they’ve been waiting on all year has gotten cancelled. They’re nervous that they may not be able to walk the stage and get the diploma they have been working hard on for 12 years. Show them support and love them during these hard times. #classof2020

OK more on this later :sad1:

 Give Stephanie a hug. AND...SHE deserves her graduation too for finishing her 2 year program! I've been thinking about her a lot too hoping she'll be able to complete the course! There was another post on Facebook last from the mother of one of Allie's friends attending Brenham High School.

I'd forgotten they were "9/11 babies". 😕 Got word this evening that one of our neighboring school districts will close the doors through April 24th! Not sure if they're extending the school year for 5 weeks or if the lost time will be excused. A lot of decisions will need to be made in the next few weeks...and a lot of plans will have to be changed if they extend! :faint:

I've always wanted to try Riverside; I DO love the Southern mansions but all that Mardi Gras stuff isn't my "cup of tea". We might have to look into Riverside for our anniversary trip! :tink:

The schools up here are doing remote/online learning so the time doesn't have to be made up. Day two of doing absolutely nothing at work. I'm hoping tomorrow is going to be the last day. All the schools in the town I live in are totally shut down and nobody is to go in. The part that gets me so mad is all the teachers, paraprofessionals, custodians, kitchen workers are home and GETTING PAID but the secretaries have to go in. >:( Makes no sense!

All the town offices in our tow are now closed. All restaurants/bars etc are all closed and most businesses are now closed. Dunkin Donuts drive thru is open and that's about it. Restaurants can be open for take out but it's not worth the cost so they are just shutting down.:(

Oh wow...y'all ARE shut down! o_O I would HOPE they close the office too; what did you have to do today to keep yourself busy? One of our neighboring towns closed their city offices but so far they're the only ones. Amanda and her co-groomer went to lunch today at a local Mexican restaurant and they were the only ones there 😒; they were served immediately! I'm hoping they continue to stay open for takeout; I'm planning on bringing our dinner home on Saturday from that restaurant after I pick up my groceries. STILL crazy in the grocery store; David talked to an EMPLOYEE of HEB in the local grocery buying what she needed. By the time her shift was done the HEB shelves were bare. They opened at 6 this morning and had to have police there to break up a couple of fights! I noticed 2 police cars at Walmart too earlier this afternoon. Both my doctors appointments were/are a "go". They appreciated my calling and asking but the foot doctor had no one in the waiting area or exam rooms and the dentist said I should call when I arrived and they'd check me in and text when a room was available tomorrow.

I'm hoping our school district goes online too. They meet Thursday evening at 5:30 to decide if they'll continue the closure and what the next step will be. UIL has announced the spring sports WILL continue :jumping1:; they said they may be holding State Tournaments IN THE SUMMER but they would give the sports teams a chance to finish their seasons. The logistics of that is mind-boggling though 😱! Some of the graduating seniors that have signed to play in college have to report in June plus all the summer vacations that are scheduled (like Allie's senior trip to Disney World)! Going to be an interesting few months ahead. 🥴:tink:
