Where In The World 21. We are now completely legal!!!

I hope the crowds aren't that bad when we are there:faint:

lol they will be

world of avatar is still very busy and its been open for a while now

Afraid Jeff is right  BUT...our "plans" for Toy Story Land might help us out!:D We can always hope! :rotfl: And, if not, we'll save Toy Story Land for the next trip and enjoy the lower wait times at our old favorites! ::yes:: :tink:

Is it a piece of furniture? A chair?

A chair by the oasis pool? Soon I will be there sipping a frosty pineapple :cloud9:

party: That's exactly correct...and EXACTLY why I used this crop! :dance3: This area is SO pretty since they've redone it!:lovestruc

OK I can't save it for next trip I have no idea when the heck that will be. :lmao: I've been keeping an eye on the Toy Story Land thread. Looks like it wasn't too bad right at rope drop today. Someone posted they waited 20 min near park closing time for SDD yesterday. Interested on seeing how it is during the night EMH. Hopefully there will be one before we go so we can see how bad it is.

THINK POSITIVE! Your next trip could be sooner than you think! Once your kids are well into their college years you can go on a solo trip and we can all meet for a "full participation" of a WITW Dis Meet! party: I still like our plans...even if the wait is still an hour MUCH easier standing in that line during the evening hours than the heat of the day. The Friday that we have scheduled for HS will have EMH and close at 12:30 AM. Families with small kiddos will be snuggling down in their beds by that time and I'm thinking after the Star Wars fireworks the crowd will thin considerably. We're not going to have the parks to ourselves :rotfl: but crowds will thin after midnight. PLUS the rain predictions are "promising". There are 3-4 days when there's a 60% chance of rain and the Princess was SUPER excited when I told her today! :rotfl2: She's already learned that the crowds thin during those Florida afternoon rainstorms. Slinky Dog will be shut down I'm sure during the rain but we can easily sit a storm out close to it and be one of the first to be back in line when it reopens. DW is July is ALWAYS interesting :rotfl:. Flexibility is the "name of the game"...we learned that during our 2014 soccer tournament trip! ::yes:: :tink:

Just got back from my evening walk and checked wait times; 10 PM at DW and SDD is only 70 minutes; Alien Saucers 35 and Toy Story Mania only 25. Good time to get in line! :thumbsup2

THIS is where the crowds are tonight...waiting for fireworks ...

... Diane...I like the looks of this...this family did 7 AM rope drop this morning. By the time the "casually strolled" to TSL the wait for SDD was only 20 minutes!

Yes July is interesting. We never got to see Illuminations because of rain. Hoping to see it this time. At least this time I have park hoppers.

OK the crowds waiting for the fireworks:crazy: It's going to be so hard to be at HS until 12:30 and then try to make 7:00am rope drop the next morning and stay there until 10:30 to see the Star Wars show. :faint: Maybe we can try to see the show Friday and then we don't have to stay there all day Saturday. Who needs sleep.

Hope you get to see Illuminations too...also...a really good place to watch Illuminations is Japan. Especially if you can get on the balcony outside Teppan Edo...or the steps. Don't forget to check the wind direction though! We forgot one year and the smoke from the fireworks was AWFUL blowing directly in our faces! o_O The rain prediction is the only thing that makes me nervous but the night time chances go down to 20-25%! Yes...fireworks crowds are awful, no matter where or when. It's really pretty to watch them from Frontierland ...that bridge that goes toward BTMRR...but then you miss the Castle show. Plus...no matter WHERE you "sit and wait" in front of the Castle SOMEONE will step right in front of you and put a child on their shoulders! :headache: A good place to "stake a spot" is right behind a railing (facing the Castle) in the new areas in front....but you have to get there really early for that and sit and wait. :headache: On our 2016 trip, I "gave in" one morning and slept in :rotfl:; couldn't do it that morning when the alarm went off! :faint: DH had gone to bed earlier than I did (which is normal for us :rolleyes1) and he was ready to get up and go. That was our Disney Springs day and we weren't planning on going to the MK until after our meal at T-Rex so my "sleeping in" just sat me behind on shopping a couple of hours :goodvibes but DH got up and went to rope drop at AK. He's always liked that park a lot more than I do and he'll spend any extra time he has there. I always say "I can sleep when I get home; NO time to sleep at DW!" :tink:
