Just a VERY quick check in...need to leave on volleyball road trip in 10 minutes ...over an hour away and we're having stormy weather ...this IS a "robots" eye (good thinking Terri ) and it's in Tomorrowland. Later...

Another "it's a small world" moment this afternoon. DD called her friend/accountant to check if he was back from Las Vegas. She knew he'd been there last week to visit his son but didn't know if he was back home or not. She was concerned, knowing he'd planned on staying in the area of the shooting. He was home and fine but his son was ON STAGE last night during the shooting. He's a DJ and was one of the announcers at the country concert being held. They'd retreated to an under stage area and waited, praying the shooting would stop and not knowing if the gunman was "on property" or not. A truly terrifying experience for him. He was interviewed on the Houston CBS station at 5 this afternoon. These incidents keep getting closer to home; remembering our friends who were in the bus that was hit by the train earlier in the year. Scary world we live in.

Glad they are ok. Scary stuff.

As expected, volleyball team lost their first district match tonight in 3 games to the #4 ranked team in the State. They "gave them a game" that's for sure...DH overheard a couple of Needville fans in the restroom after the match saying, "well they were a lot tougher than we thought they'd be"! Horrible gym for pictures; I don't think I got 2 "action" shots that weren't blurred...lighting was awful and when the ref RIGHT BEHIND THE POLE doesn't call the other team "out" ('cause the player HIT THE POLE AND IT WAS STILL MOVING ...3 different times) well... it was just turns into "one of those nights"...

Time to regroup and get ready for ANOTHER tough road trip Friday; it's now "revenge time" for all the teams they've defeated so far in District as the 2nd half of the rotation starts...

This is from a shop in HS. Just name the shop. I won't make you tell me what it is on because that would be pretty hard but bonus points if you do guess. :

It is not painted or on a wall, or cloth or on a shirt or a poster. But it is on something. I think the 2 legs is just a stylized interpretation of the animal.

He's from the stand alone Star Wars Rogue One movie, he didn't have a real name, just a number, if I remember correctly.
