Omg your crazy I have seen pictures of the crowds today at Epcot it's looks packed

It was quite crowded.

Why? What's going on? Wine and Food Festival?

As Jeff said it was the 35th anniversary of Epcot. There was merchandise that was dated and only available for purchase today. Of course the EBay'ers were cleaning up. The picture of the pin that I posted was being given out "free" at one location inside the entrance. During the morning hours I was searching eBay and the "free pin" was being listed for 15 to 30 dollars. They had dated park maps. They were handing out only 2 at a clip. By the end of the night, handfuls were given to anyone that wanted them.

Search Epcot 35th and you will.be amazed at some of the prices people are asking for items.

It was an amazing display. Brother and I watched it from Italy. Perfect spot. Felt bad for those watching from Canada and United Kingdom. They could not see much.

That EBay stuff is AWFUL; I hate when people do that! I thought about asking you to get a pin for Redstorm until I saw some pictures inside Mouse Gears :scared:...that place was CRAZY! We watched from Italy one year and it was a great spot! From the steps in Japan leading to Teppan Edo is pretty good too. That was a LOT of smoke and looked like it was just "hanging there". Did you stay until the park was empty? :rotfl: From the looks of the crowd I'll bet that took awhile tonight getting the guests out of the park! :rotfl2: :tink:

Ya know...sometime I look back on my life and ask myself "why did you waste so much time worrying about and mentoring some of the kids you did during DD's high school years"? THEN...I hear this knock on the door...and there stands one of those young men. :-) A now successful business owner and family man who's stopped by to just say "thank you". :lovestruc Stephen was a real "pain in the backside" during high school years but was in the band and just needed some guidance and support. He joined the Army after graduation; a friend and I even flew out to Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri to watch him graduate. He served his time and jumped into "life" with a "can do" attitude...and he's done it! LOVE those surprise visits. :lovestruc :tink:

Another "it's a small world" moment this afternoon. DD called her friend/accountant to check if he was back from Las Vegas. She knew he'd been there last week to visit his son but didn't know if he was back home or not. She was concerned, knowing he'd planned on staying in the area of the shooting. He was home and fine but his son was ON STAGE last night during the shooting. He's a DJ and was one of the announcers at the country concert being held. They'd retreated to an under stage area and waited, praying the shooting would stop and not knowing if the gunman was "on property" or not. A truly terrifying experience for him. He was interviewed on the Houston CBS station at 5 this afternoon. These incidents keep getting closer to home; remembering our friends who were in the bus that was hit by the train earlier in the year. Scary world we live in. :sad2: :tink:

Glad your friends are okay. Since I think I'm the only one on here who wants more gun control, I will recuse myself from this discussion.

:confused3 I'm assuming you mean Discovery Island in the AK? This is not from AK...this is from a MK shop. :tink:

Oh, okay, the MK. Adventureland? or Main St.?
