Where In The World 21. We are now completely legal!!!

So we were suppose to go away next week to cabin on the ocean but plans have fallen thru still have the week off but we are staying local. That trip would have been about $1300 including ferry ride to the island and stuff

So that had me thinking I bet we can go to Disneyland for around that price and I looked it up and I picked the dates oct 9- oct 13 Flight + hotel across the street + park tickets is around $1500

So now I just have to convince Emily to go because she wanted a nice calm mellow vacation and you all know Disney is not lol

I meant to ask you last night how plans were going and, with all the drama, totally forgot! That cabin on the ocean sounds heavenly :cloud9: but a Disney trip sounds AWESOME! She'll say YES...so start booking! :cool1: :tink:

Oh they are soooooooooooooooo cute.:goodvibes I can't wait to show DD.

puppies are like babies they can fall asleep in the oddest positions lol

So sorry about your DD's Starr! Glad the 6 puppies are hanging in there.

Aren't they ADORABLE? Stephanie will fall in love with them just like the Princess will when she gets home from camp! We're going to have a hard time keeping our hands off them! Three weeks is the "magic number" and it's going to be a LONG 3 weeks. Vet says if they make it past that mark they should make it. Praying...DD is still SO upset about Starr :sad1:, and I had a hard time sleeping last night thinking about her :sad1:, but puppies are keeping her so busy. She has to syringe feed them using a makeup sponge on the end so the can take the supplement better and hopefully, not get fluid on their lungs. Jeff...that's the first thing I said too...especially that one puppy just "chillin'". :rotfl2: I think this is the same one enjoying his "food":

A poster at sci fi?

Was not expecting to get emotional tonight...but I did! ::yes:: Redstorm's first time in the high school gym being introduced as a player kinda hit me like a ton of bricks! :rotfl: Hearing the School Song and Fight Song and watching her walk onto the floor with the rest of her team...:faint:...WOW. Those "babies" grow up so fast. And they sure are loud...I'm listening to 3 of them laughing and giggling back in Redstorm's room now...and for the rest of the night!

50s Prime Time?

 DD ... and the rest of us ... dealing with a lot of sadness over the lunch hour. Her English Bulldog, Starr, died at the Vet Clinic giving birth to 9 puppies...3 of the puppies have also passed away...

Oh, I'm so sorry! I can't imagine how she must feel taking care of the puppies while missing heir mom.

50s Prime Time?

Good volleyball morning! :cheer2: Freshman team almost "ran like a fine tuned machine" :rotfl: with a few sputters from a couple of the new players. Can't say the same for JV and Varsity...some intense workouts ahead this week for them! Now the girls are off for an afternoon of swimming and we're getting caught up on Camp News from the Princess! :flower1: Wonderful week for her! :thumbsup2

 Thanks. It's been a hard few days, she feels so bad and misses her Starr. Puppies are keeping them very busy though. Feeding 6 of them every 2 hours and having to be so careful so as to not get fluid in their lungs...hard! We're just hoping they all make it; one of them looks just like Starr! She's already said she's keeping that one. :lovestruc

Well THAT was a circus :jester: ... just spent 30 minutes chasing a GREAT DANE all over the neighborhood in 99 degree heat with a "real feel" of 105 :sunny:. Miss CiCi decided she wanted to "help" me water my plants in the front yard so she JUMPED the fence . Have you ever seen a 65 year old slow women; 66 year old man with a bum knee; 38 year old DD running on the hot asphalt in bare feet running through YOUR neighborhood? :jester::joker::jester: Thank goodness son-in-law was at the golf course only a few blocks from home today and not the one 25 miles south of us. :rotfl2: We actually had her caught before he got here but getting her back home was another story. :rolleyes1 After all, she only weighs 145 pounds and was enjoying her freedom. Got out of the pool about an hour ago...ready to GO BACK. :beach: :tink:

Oh that must have been quite the sight.:lmao: I can just picture all of you chasing CiCi. Glad you were able to catch her before she ran off too far.:cheer2: I finally got to enjoy our pool for a little bit this afternoon.

:cheer2:YAY for the volleyball team. DD should be starting cross country in a few weeks not sure when it actually starts.:confused3 She's been trying to do some running this summer but it's hard with softball. Now that that is done she needs o really start doing some running.

Yep...she does! Our kids officially started last Monday; they introduced the team last night. Volleyball was interesting...and you know what I mean. :rolleyes1 The person "in question" didn't even get to the scrimmage until 11 AM! They were suppose to report at 9 AM. :rolleyes1 Soooo glad, since it's already August :goodvibes that you FINALLY got in your pool! Oh yes...quite a sight describes it perfectly! :lmao::rotfl2::lmao: DD now has blisters under her feet! And Cici has been sleeping since her adventure! :rotfl: :tink:
