No plans for me this weekend. But, tomorrow the 4th, we are taking the boat out on the lakes. But for today, I am inside in the A/C!

Watch for alligators! DGD's dance teacher was visiting her parents in Florida a couple weeks ago. They have a home on a lake; in fact, in the new season they'll be featured on HGTV's Lakefront Living! We're all anxiously awaiting that show...sometime in September or October. She was jet skiing one morning and came to dock area to enjoy a bite of breakfast...staying in the water. Damn alligator on the other side of the dock! Scared the "you know what" out of her and her husband just about had a heart attack! Sounds like fun though; I haven't been on a boat since we took a dolphin watch tour in South Padre YEARS ago. I always enjoy boat rides. We're in the midst of a looming deadline and won't be doing anything special...maybe BBQ for lunch...then back to work!

Now WHY do you and James want to get sick? Hope you're both improving by now. Had our obligatory 4th July BBQ for lunch and DD is cooking dinner this evening before we watch a few fireworks here. Always love the DW show and will catch a "rerun" later; no "rest for the weary" now though...back to work. DH finished his painting project this morning so now I can get back into that spare bedroom and tackle the closet for cleanout. . So far, with all this major cleanup work, I've only injured myself once. Mashed the little finger on my left hand yesterday and it's sore as the dickens today but must carry on....

james had that foot mouth foot virus. he was hone all week from daycare but is better now and went back today

Poor James...that's miserable...dealt with it more than once during my childcare years. Redstorm and some of her friends had the same sore throat "virus". Doctor tested for strep but wasn't that...just a very painful sore throat. Most of the volleyball team ended up with it at one time or another. All you do is drink fluids, rest and wait for it to go away. Besides...if you're temps are still mirroring ours you DON'T WANT TO GO OUTSIDE! Feel better my friend!
