Nothing like coming home from DD's house after dinner and seeing your niece's property (behind us and "in DD's backyard ") full of police cars and firetrucks! Niece's son (Jeff...you'd LOVE this young man...his life revolves around cars ) was working on a recently acquired "hot rod" and it caught fire! Total loss...only charred remains left....but everyone's safe! DD had her shades pulled and we were watching the Astros baseball game...heard NOTHING!

The entrance to Asia? Where that huge lump of a statue is?

I love the pirate's bed. Wish I could have one like that. The used to have a "Dream House" in Disneyland that had a kids bedroom all set up with the Peter Pan theme and as the CM read the story to us, the room interacted with the story. You could even shoot a canon at pirates outside the windows. That Dream house was one the coolest things there. Now of course that whole building is dedicated to super heroes.
