BBQ brisket and pork with David's homemade BBQ sauce; grilled salmon with blueberry sauce; mashed potatoes and brown gravy; fresh beans from David's garden; broccoli and, of course, their favorite..."Mimi's Banana Pudding". Mostly everything is prepared or close to it so I can finally sit a few minutes!

SUPER EXCITED! Just made a date with ED and TONI for lunch in West Palm Beach when we're in Florida in October! He's been super busy...promoted to Manager of Address Management Systems Office for all of South Florida. He travels between WPB and Miami now. Can't wait to catch up and have a nice, long visit!

It was SO good! Even the "shy one" ... Katie's boyfriend went back for seconds! They pretty much "cleaned us out"... just enough for leftovers for dinner tomorrow and a few packages of BBQ to put in the freezer. Yes...the Banana Pudding "took a hit" too!

No Ma'am, not the Pooh ride....haven't been on that in ages...might give it a try this fall again.

I have a cousin in WPB. We went to visit on one of our trips.

Yes...very excited; won't be a l-o-n-g lunch since we'll have to get back to Melbourne for Amanda to say goodbye to Allie and then drive her over to Orlando that night. She has a REALLY early morning flight home the next day so she's staying at an airport hotel that night....and then we'll have to drive BACK to Melbourne for our few days with Allie. Hopefully we can get there around 10 that Saturday morning (we'll be driving to WPB from Key West) so we can have a little time to visit before lunch. Should be fun getting caught up again! You need to visit your cousin more often! Just a short trip over to DW!

Katie was SO excited with her new laptop from Sara and Treavor and was more than a little "puzzled" with our gift...a woman's TOOL KIT! I'd asked Allie what thing she used the most that had been given to her when SHE moved into the dorm 4 years ago and she said, HANDS DOWN, the tool kit! Of course, Katie had NO clue what to do with almost all of the tools other than the hammer and tape measure so Allie will have to "school her" before she leaves. I made sure Allie "took a little bit of TEXAS" with her to Florida too with the metal wall art we found in Corpus a few weeks ago and she loved the vintage record albums her Grandma Jane found for her at an estate sale. Such a fun...but a little sad evening. Treavor is not handling this well at all!
