Just from winds today; nephew lost roof off barn on the land he bought from me at Mom's farm.

Tornado hit Round Rock and Elgin just a few minutes ago; have friends in Round Rock. We're under a Tornado Watch; looks like our area will get hit around 11 PM.
Soon though it will just be hot, hot, HOT! Then we "get" to start watching the tropics for hurricanes....that's what Allie loves to do! Her "goal" as a meteorologist is to study hurricanes! I keep teasing her when we're watching coverage of blizzards in the north that she might one day be out there "reporting" on blizzards. She always tells me NO...SHE'LL be the one trying to stand up against hurricane winds on the coast! 
The weather system that passed over Texas last night (total of 7 tornado's) is in Louisiana/Alabama/Mississippi tonight; had a HUGE tornado in downtown New Orleans around sundown today. 
Is that Captain Phasma's cape?
Maybe it's in Planet Hollywood? Maybe one of the costume displays?

; I think it's easier when the the games are blowouts! Lots of tears but time to move on. On the bright side...HPU Ladies Soccer had a spring game and Allie got to travel with them. Facebook pic made me smile again ; haven't seen those girls since OCTOBER!
