Reading the local newspaper and see Redstorm's Graduation Day is set. The countdown for the Class of 2020 begins ending on Friday, May 29, 2020.

Graduation day set already We can't set graduation days until about a month before because of any snow days.

Graduation day set already We can't set graduation days until about a month before because of any snow days.

One problem we don't have! They do have 2 "bad weather days" built in the schedule for the 27th & 28th so we're covered IF we have to take flood or tornado days! Starting the "countdown clock" ...

She is SUPER, CRAZY excited ; downside...she will now MISS the family trip to Disney World! DD had scheduled it before she got this wild idea to try out; happens to be the same week as mandatory "cheer camp"! Of course, Redstorm is SUPER excited because she now gets to bring her BFF in her place ...if her schedule works out. They'll be there the same week as our high school band and the BFF's twin sister is Drum Major for the band and her mother will be along as a chaperone. Works out perfectly for the "big kids" and KB will have a ball staying with her good friend (another cheerleader) that week.

I KNOW! DD warned her when she signed up and her answer..."Well...it's not like I won't be going back to Disney next year!" She had to make her choice this child LOVES to "perform"; she'll be SUPER SAD when they're packing for a Disney trip though! Cheer Camp is mandatory...miss it and you're out...so she can't change her mind at the last minute!
