Well that was quick; tournament was WAY ahead of schedule and we had to hustle to get there for the game. Ended up in 3rd place which was pretty good considering basketball is the 3rd sport of most of the team!

One of our goofy city police officers just stopped me from taking the Christmas lights out of our magnolia tree and ordered me inside . He said (#1) it wasn't JULY yet and lights couldn't come down until then and (#2) it was to darn cold outside (upper 40's with upper 30's wind chill)...said I needed to get by the fireplace and watch football. So...I'm done working outside for the evening . Yes...3rd place IS good; we are NOT a "basketball town"!

You have more of an excuse than we do. It's a "little bit" colder where you live! I've got all of them down except this tree but having to clean out the storage shed before they can be put away. Christmas items that need repair but just haven't gotten to it so I need to look at everything and decide if it's "trash time" or DO the repairs. We've been spending more time with DGD's activities between dance, soccer, volleyball and basketball...plus the playoff games on TV. But, like the officer said...it's not July yet, so we're not in a hurry.

I kept popping in to check the score. I was watching a new Hallmark channel movie. Watched the Pats game. Maybe they will be playing the Broncos next week. Steelers are pretty beat up.

I didn't really care who won and who lost but it was a great game! Some phenomenal passes/catches and runs along with some really boneheaded coaching decisions! Keeping a CLOSE eye on Denver tomorrow; should be a fairly easy game for them but it's playoff football! Hallmark movie is recorded for later.
