Where In The World #20

It's my last day at AAA!

Which means I'll probably just be hanging out here all day, because there's nothing for me to do. I'm just playing secretary these last couple of days, and answering any e-mails I get.

party: Congratulations!! party:

Just finished a 2 hour meeting with DH's HR GOOD friend at his employment. After receiving notice of the $40,677.00 charge for Life Flight and the $37, 550.00 charge at the hospital for my "adventure", I thought it was time! :faint: Feel better though...she's a good person to have on "our side". At least DH's out of pocket charges will be taken care of when I give the hospital a $715.00 check Monday before surgery...everything else should be paid by insurance company 100%. I say again...may be awhile before WE get back to DW!::yes::

This is from an attraction. :tink:

Do we know which park? HS? AK?

Glad they didn't ask you to pay upfront for the Life Flight! :faint: Time for socialized medicine!

:rotfl:Pretty close! I'll be "pulling an all nighter" like I did in July, 2014, when I had to make Ed leave the MK BEFORE CLOSING so I could get packed and ready for the ME pickup at 4 AM...only this won't be NEARLY as much fun! :faint: I'll be disinfecting the bathroom so DH can take his "disinfecting shower" before we get in the car and head into Houston. :faint: I'm hoping they'll be a room assigned for him before surgery so I can get a little sleep! :tink:

Packing...who needs that..:lmao:

You had to ask for that detour over the stadium ::yes:: That flight cost is insane.

wow that's expensive

Glad they didn't ask you to pay upfront for the Life Flight! :faint: Time for socialized medicine!

Took the Princess to the annual spring performance of our high school dance team, The Brahmadoras! AWESOME show...and only 4 more years before the little Princess is dancing on that stage and at football games! ::yes:: Was good to get a break from "medical stuff" :rotfl:! Denise...you know my feelings on "socialized medicine" :sad2:; I'm more of a "free enterprise" and allowing companies to compete with one another for the best prices and services. ::yes:: It is what it is and very glad we have the HR person in our corner! And yes Jeff...EXPENSIVE! :tink:

:rotfl2: Well...it's gonna take me a good part of the weekend to PACK DH's stuff for his (hopefully) 1 night hospital stay! You would not believe all the stuff we have to have together so things go smoothly! I know, I know...that damn detour did it! :lmao: They probably had to go 2 blocks out of the way! :lmao: Life Flight costs are outrageous; I WILL say they do amazing work; those guys were AWESOME but how can a 20 minute ride cost THAT much? :confused3 :tink:

When is your DH surgery?

Holy crap that is a lot of money.:faint:

When is your DH surgery?

I always compare everything to "trips to DW" :goodvibes...that $40,000+ would equal quite a few, wouldn't it? :rotfl2: Thank God we won't have to pay THAT amount; HR lady is going to try to get insurance company to pick up 100% of that cost. :lovestruc Her "argument" will be "there is NO "in network" Life Fight in the state of Texas, hence our company should do as stated in the policy and "cover all emergency transport" at 100%. Not holding our breath but sure hope she's successful!

DH's surgery is Monday...providing we can get through the weekend and stay well. Everything/everyone is "ready to go" but, of course, we're now dealing with the Princess AND DH having sore throats (and strep throat is "going around"...along with the FLU!) We're 99% sure both sore throats are from allergy's...pollen count has been really high this past week for some allergens...so keeping our fingers crossed that's the case. :tink:

I knew this would be too easy. :rotfl:Good place to start that's the place. :thumbsup2 Just tell me where and what it is.

:rotfl: But it's not solved YET :rotfl:... :headache: familiar but can't "place it"...I'll start with the outside area around the doors that lead out to "the back"/firepit area. :tink:
